Due to a change in plans, here are some new rules.
1. Each person may only enter one character for the position of teacher. This eliminates the problem of having 2 teachers for one person, and letting them have more power than the other posters. It also makes sure that no one has to fight their own character.

Sekhmet: I'm well-aware. Good afternoon, Soifon and Shunsui.It has been such a long time.

Soifon: Could you control your royal court, so we don't have to visit again.

Shunsui: Now, now, calm down. You know they were seen as intruders, so we had to escort them here.

Zalbeseal: Intruders? How insulting.

Galgalzzi: Indeed. We are the royal court, and we demand respect. You may be "warriors," but you still bow to royalty.

Sekhmet: Silence (waving her hand). Allow me to apologize for my assembly. I was unaware they needed a hall pass in order to enter my palace.

Soifon: What?! How dare you!

Shunsui: (puts hand in front of soifon) She is a highly-esteemed guest of our commander and of the royal house. (whispers-Show some restraint). We are glad to have you here. I heard you refused a squard captain position in the past. This must be nostalgic, returning here.

Sekhmet: Yes, of course, nostalgic (walk down the stairs from her throne). I wouldn't want to keep you important figureheads, so you may leave at your convenience.

Soifon: (grinds teeth) Ordering us around....!!!

Shunsui: The captain commander would also appreciate if you would find your way to the academy. It is close to the qualification and assessment tournament.

Sekhmet: I plan to leave very shortly (the two vanish). Now, did you bring what I asked of you?

Yashnamiesh: Of course, Sekhmet-sama. (she places a small golden box in her hands).

Sekhmet: Delightful.

Veznesel: We're expected to accompany you to this charade, aren't we?

Sekhmet: Why, but of course. I want you to see just where you'll be staying. These new recruits are quite unique.

Zalbeseal: You sound intrigued?

Sekhmet: (she chuckles). Some seem too good to be true. Rare jewels that just need a slight polishing. (stares at her court and smiles).

(they vanish).




Sekhmet: Oh, but of course.

Sekhmet: (stares at them) Giving you trouble.

'Kaoru is taking a nap in the exam room as Ryu walks in and looks at the room, and looks at the sign'

Ryu: Lets see, my opponent is Kaoru Itou.

'Kaoru wakes up when she hears her name'

Kaoru: Who called my name?

Ryu: You can't be my opponent, your just a little girl.

'Kaoru laughes': Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm weak. A few people have already learned that lesson?

Ryu: I guess....

Kaoru: Now lets go! The exams will start soon!

'They both run over to the arena, and Ryu pulls out his sword'

Ryu: Where is your sword?

Kaoru: Don't have one, all I need are these.'She taps her bracelets'

Tashigi: Now, BEGIN!!

'Kaoru and Ryu both shunpo away, and when they appear, Kaoru blocks Ryu's sword with a bracelet. Then, with the other bracelet, she punches Ryu, knocking him back'

Kaoru: You can't hold back with me just because I'm a girl. Or else...'She disappears, and appears right behind him' you'll die!

'Ryu trys to slice her, but she jumps up and lands on his sword'

Kaoru: Nice sword. Very nice perch for me.

'Ryu shakes her off, and manages to slice her arm a little'

Kaoru: Hmmmm. Good job. But you'll need to do better than that!

'She flips over him'

Kaoru: Bakudo 4, Hainawa!

'The rope wraps around his waist, and she whips it around to slam him in to the floor'

Kaoru: Now, Hado 11, Tsuzuri Raiden!

'The electric current flows down the rope of energy, and shocks Ryu'

Sekhet: (is seen entering the gates from a distance. Accompanied by her royal court. She is slowly walking past the gates, with her long white and silver kamono. She she looks up and her and Maurz lock eyes).

Maurz: (he freezes in place as he watches her get closer).

Sekhmet: (she removes her silvery kamono and places it in her guards hand. Behind her, Galgalzzi, Zalbeseal, Yashnamiesh, and Veznesel walk with an eerie presence).

Tashigi: I see she brought her fan club...

Akeno: Ah, yes, the famous royal court of Sekhmet. They certainly demand attention.

Tashigi: It is not just their presence that is bizarre, but their aura is eerie.

Akeno: I can sense it, too. The spiritual pressure they weild, even when masked, is immense. Do you think it is simply coming from Sekhmet?

Tashigi: No, but her spiritual pressure is an overwhelming presence. I believe it is supressing the other's spiritual pressure.

Akeno: Interesting. Why do I get the feeling you don't trust her?

Tashigi: I don't know much about her ever since she left.

Akeno: Left?

Tashigi: Yes, it was before you. She was offered a captain level position, but refused to occupy such a role. She claimed it was, 'beneath her royal title and subjecting her to senseless violence.'

Akeno: So she thinks highly of herself...I have heard such rumors. I also heard she was one of Yamamoto's favorite and most prized students. That title isn't earned easily.

Tashigi: Yes, she is strong, there is no doubt. We will see just how strong, however. She may have lost her touch since leaving the soul society.

Akeno: Rumor has it, she has occupied her old palace. And she plans to remain her even after the tournament.

Tashigi: She likely thinks she'll win.

Akeno: Look at her...she is walking with such confidence, but something about her...

Tashigi: I'm telling you this now, beware of her. Beyond her beauty, graceful words, and polite portrayal is a heartless woman.

Akeno: You're being much too harsh. She's likely very pleasent (he walks toward her and greets her) Good afternoon, Madam. It is a pleasure to...(he is interupted by her disregard of him. She merely passes by without a glance). Ugh...(stares at her while her court walks by never acknowleding him).

Tashigi: I told him.

Sekhmet: (she stops in front of Maurz and looks him up and down) This is my opponent?

Tashigi: (nods). Yes, yes it is Sekhmet.

Sekhmet: (she scoffs at the idea) I know you think ill of me, Tashigi, but matching me with a child. Truly spiteful.

Tashigi: I'll have you know, this was randomized and I do not dislike you (face looks as though he ate something sour).

Sekhmet: (she chuckles) Of course, I must be over reacting. (she looks at Maurz) Shall we move along?

Maurz: Calling me a child...how disrespectful! I will demonstrate my power soon enough.

Sekhmet: Your injured ego is quite funny. (she enter the arena area).

Tashigi: Please, don't be too brutal.

Sekhmet: (does not acknowledge his comment).

Maurz: I'll try and be quick with this, woman.

Sekhmet: Arrognace has been many shinigami's akiles heel. Will you have it be yours?

Maurz: (he rushes at her and vanishes)

Sekhmet: (she places her hand behind her, and blocks a kick) Predictable. (she grabs his leg and throws him to her right).

(Poeira, Nuvem, Traea, and Farfalla watch in the distance as do Sekhmet's royal court).

Maurz: (he appears in the distance and does several vanishing and appearing tricks).

Sekhmet: Trying to confuse me? That is your tactic? (suddenly dust is scatters in a trail heading her way. She lifts her hand and maurz fist smashes into the back of her hand. It causes a shockwave and a surprised maurz, which stares at her. She smiles and grabs his arm and smashes him into the ground causing the ground to shatter, sending a plume of dust around the arena). Need I remind you, little boys acting tough is not a battle strategy.

Maurz: (removes himself from the rubble and stands up. His arm arm he is covered in dirt, dust and his body has blood on it) A couple scrapes and bruises won't deter me...

Sekhmet: Oh, I'm not suggesting that should. However, if you continue, it will only end badly. I can certainly toss you much harder, which will likely result in a broken limb (she smiles).


(In the distance).

Nuvem: I enjoy her style of combat.

Traea: She is highly skilled. Her opponent has not acknowledged his opponent. Such a shame.

Farfalla: (grins). We may see some violent fights after all...

Blaze: Yeah she is really something with that body of hers.

Blaze: Well, I'm Blaze, and I'll be your opponent.

Haha, Oh armo. They may seem overpowered to you, but that is just because you're comparing them to your well-underdeveloped characters. My characters are just uniquely well-rounded, which makes them so formidable. Now, you just need to post something, but be careful.

jin: my opponent huh... what a pain

blaze: this is a very intresting fight.. but its only the begining

blaze: you better learn a few moves because its our turn next and im not gonna go easy on you.

blaze(smiling) as much as i would love that, you know full well that when we unsheath our zanpacktou the battle will be stopped

blaze: even if you can mask our spiritual presure wich i highly doubt you can. the fight will be for nothing. this is an exam..

jin: the only reason i'm fighting is the joy of battle. nothing else matters to me and if your a good little boy and provide me a good fight, ill show you my bankai...

blaze smiles and the two watch the fight

(While writhing in pain on the ground, Ryu is able to increase his spiritual pressure and break the rope.)

Kaoru: Wow, I guess I didn't realize that you had a good bit of fight left in you.

Ryu: Well, to be honest, I never thought that I would have to use this much power to even be a match for you. I now see my error and will increase my strength, starting with a new technique that I learned before our match.

(With a surprised look on here face) Kaoru: A new technique?! What is it and how can you use it without releasing you shikai?

(Grinning) Ryu: You're about to find out. Bāningutatchi (Burning Touch)

(Kaoru begins to feel a burning sensation where Ryu had cut her on the arm.)

Kaoru: So you're new technique is to make my arm warm? Kind of a waste isn't it?

Ryu: Actually, it is not a waste. Within two minutes your arm will feel like it is on fire. In fact, it will feel so painful that you might just have to cut your arm off to make the pain stop.

(Thirty seconds have passed and Kaoru can already feel the burning increase.)

Kaoru: Ah...it really does hurt but I can still fight!

Ryu: I admire your conviction but as soon as the two minute mark is reached, your arm will feel like it is in the middle of a wildfire. But look on the bright side, if you are able to survive thirty minutes with your arm that way the effect will wear off and you might be able to beat me.

(The two minute mark is reached and Kaoru is now down on one knee in pain.)

Kaoru: AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It hurts so much! (she is gasping for breath now)

Ryu: Well guess it is time to end this. (He shunpos over to her and places his sword at here throat.) I guess the match is over.

Kaoru: Not yet. (She shunpos away to a rooftop.) This arm (left arm) may be in pain and unusable but I can still kick you ass with my right arm.

(In his seat) Jin: Maybe I should have faced this girl. She has the determination to give me a good fight.

(Smiling) Ryu: Sorry Jin, but she's my opponent.

Jin: You should concentrate on your match more than you should me you damn idiot.

Ryu: What?

(Ryu turns his head around and is sent flying by a punch from Kaoru.)

Kaoru: See I told ya that I could still kick your ass with my other arm.

(Getting up, Ryu starts to let his temper get the best of him.)

(Eyes closed) Ryu: Alright you little brat, you're gonna get it now! Burn into the Sky, Kasai Fenikkusu.

Kaoru: So he finally released his shikai.

(Thinking to himself) Blaze: I had heard about his first match with Jin and how this guy was hesitant to bring out his shikai. (He says to Jin.) I think you're gonna see a different side to your former opponent.

Jin:.....

(Ryu opens his eyes and reveals his former blue eyes to now be red.)

Ryu: Alright, time to DIE!!!

Kaoru: What do ya mean time to die?! We're only supposed to be dueling for a position, not killing each other.

(She now sees that Ryu has shunpoed behind her.)

(To herself) Kaoru: I should have sensed him, but I didn't.

Ryu: Take this! Boukaheki Surasshu

(Ryu does not use that Double Effect of Boukaheki Surasshu. Instead, he uses the entire slash and send all of the spiritual pressure in Kasai Fenikkusu at Kaoru. Fortunately, she was able to dodge it.)

For those that need a definition, the Double Effect of Boukaheki Surasshu can only take effect if the user has locked swords with his enemy. It basically sends a first wave of spiritual pressure against the opponent at the time of impact, then the Double Effect sends a second wave against the opponent while they have locked swords. By not using the Double Effect, Ryu sent both waves against Kaoru at once.

Kaoru: If I had not dodged that attack I could have been seriously hurt! This guy seemed like he was pretty nice before, but when his eyes turned red he started acting like he was possessed by a demon or something. Could it have been that when he activated his shikai that this happened? But if that was the case then he would have been this way in his fight with Jin.

(Ryu then comes at her again.)

Ryu: You talk to much! Boukaheki Surasshu!

(Kaoru dodges it again.)

Kaoru: I've got to find a way to end this quick or I might be defeated...or worse!

Blaze: Damn, he's determined to win the match but dosen't want to kill her or cause permenent damage. If he would of done this fighting you he would of kicked your ass.

Jin: Shut up. You think you have a chance against me. You don't even have a shikai or any real power for that matter.

Blaze: I can't wait for our match, your over confidence in your abilities and my lack of seriousness in battle. We'll be two oppisites you and I.

(Thinking to himself) Jin: I'll Finish you before you move.

What do you mean, " you can't wait for our match...?" Your battle has already started, well, it should have. You two just simply talk about and forth. You're free to begin, unless you want to continue your charade.

Me, however, I think i'll just post something killing Maurz sense armo go on and didn't post. He obviously doesn't know how to react.

' Kaoru dodges another attack from Ryu, and then straightens up'

Kaoru: Thats it! You've pissed me off! If you wanna die, be my guest! Drift, Yume Tama!

'Her bracelets become a headband, and she becomes covered in a slippery substance. She then blows a bubble with her hands, and keeps them there like boxing gloves'

Ryu: Bubbles!? They won't help you! Boukaheki Surasshu!

'The wave of heat comes at Kaoru, but she blocks it with a bubble'

Ryu: What?! How!?

Kaoru: You don't need to know, but sorry. This match is finished.

'With one hand, Kaoru blows enough bubbles to fill the arena, and with her other and, she fires shakkahos, soukatsuis, and Byakurais which get swallowed by the bubbles. Then, they start to spiral in to a huge vortex of bubbles'

Kaoru:Well, hope you don't die! hehe! 'as she puts a protective bubble around her'

Ryu: Crap!

'All of a sudden, the bubbles explode, releasing all of the captured Kido and spirit energy through the entire arena. Ryu tried to escape, but he wasn't fast enough, and got hit by the explosion'

Kaoru: Well, thats probably over. 'She steps out of her bubble. She looks over to where a big hole in the ground is' Sorry about that! Now, where is my new room?

(As Kaoru turns away, a loud noise can be heard from the bottom of the hole.)

Ryu: Kyah!!!!!!!!!!! (breaks out of the rubble and staggers to stand up)

Kaoru: Wow, I didn't expect him to live through that. I wonder how he did it.

(Up in the stands) Blaze: He survived be sheer determination. There could be no other way.

(Back down in the arena) Ryu: I can't believe that I let myself be controlled by my anger. What makes it even worse is that by doing so, I allowed myself to be left wide open for an attack like that.

Kaoru: Are you trying to say that my attack wasn't worthy of you?!

Ryu: No, I am just saying that I should have been able to dodge an attack like that. (He bows) Please accept my apology for not fighting you as myself.

Kaoru: Ok??? Does this mean that you forfeit the match?

Ryu: No, it means that I am just going to have to redeem myself and beat you with everything I've got.

Kaoru: And how are you going to do that? You can barely stand, much less fight.

(Smiling) Ryu: Who said that I was going to be standing.

Kaoru: Huh???

Ryu: Bankai! (A cloud of smoke appears around Ryu and a giant flame erupts into the sky where he is standing. As the smoke clears, Ryu can be seen still standing at the bottom of the hole.) Kuukichuu Kasai Fenikkusu.

(In shock) Kaoru: Ban...kai?!!!

(Having just arrived at the arena, Wukong and Hideyoshi are happy to see that they have not missed the end of the battle.)

Wukong: Good we didn't miss it. Hey what's going on.

Hideyoshi: I looks like Ryu just confirmed the last of the rumors. Look, he's released his bankai.

Wukong: Wow, I can't wait to see what it does.

(Ryu hears them from down in the arena.)

Ryu: Maybe if you two would shut up for just a second, you might find out.

Kaoru: Can we get back to the match so that I can kick your ass?! I don't have all day you know.

Ryu: Don't worry, this won't take to long.

(Kuukichuu Kasai Fenikkusu then reveals its wings and Ryu flies up into the air.)

Ryu: Like I told you before, Kaoru. Who ever said that I would be standing.

Kaoru: I can still shunpo up to you. (she shunpos up to Ryu)

(Ryu however is able to fly away before Kaoru gets to him.)

Ryu: And I can fly away before you even get close to me. Time to knock some sense into you. Usui Honoo Surasshu.

(Kaoru then sees a small line of flame move through part of her right leg.

(Thinking to herself) Kaoru: How did he cut me so fast? I didn't even see him. How can I fight him if I can't even see him move? If I can't find a way to beat him soon, he really WILL kill me!

(After shunpoing behind her) Ryu: Don't worry, I won't kill you. In fact, I won't cut you again throughout the duration of this match.

Hideyoshi(thinking to himself): Ryu are you really prepared for the responsibility. Will you be able to guide and teach effectivly. Oh well nothing i can do now.

Wukong: GO RYU!!!!!

Tashigi looks down at the arena. Astonished that someone actually released their bankai in an examine battle.

Tashigi: I can't belive he did this.

Yamamoto: The boy is hot headed and has begun to fall away from reason.

Tashigi: Yes but he could kill that girl if he keeps it up.

Yamamoto: I believe that she has a few more tricks up her sleeve.

Tashigi: What about those two over there, Blaze and Jin.

Yamamoto: They have become impatient. At the conclusion of one of the matches we will send them to fight.

Tashigi: It should be interesting, Blaze is lazy and not very serious while Jin is overconfident and will not use his full strength.

Yamamoto: It will be fun to watch.
(turing their attention back to the fights at hand.)

New character! Please allow me to introduce the character into the story.

Hair Color/Style: Dark Brown/Shoulder-length

Occupation: New Student

Description: Senna is a kind person with a strong sense of justice. She will help anyone in need, and will put her life on the line to protect those that she loves. She grew up during the time that Ryu was thrown out of Runkongai and felt sorry for him. When she was ten she wondered in the forests and found Ryu there alone. She decided to stay with him and train with him, as her soul reaper powers had manifested as well. When they were sixteen, Ryu left her for a reason that has yet to be revealed and she has been looking for him ever since.

Abilities: She is a kido expert but lacks in her swordsmanship, though she isn't very bad at it. She is also brutally strong.

ZANPAKUTO (Please note that I used this zapakuto for another character in a different forum.)

Release Command: Protect Mankind

Shikai: Tenshi (Angel)

Shikai Appearance: After its release, Tenshi become a golden double-bladed zanpakuto. The shikai is basically two katanas, one facing one way and the other facing the other, that are combined at the base of their hilts. There are no crossguards on either side of the blade. The grip of the zanpakuto is white in color with red insets.

Shikai Attack: (Tengoku Hikari: Heaven's Light) Tengoku Hikari charges Tenshi with the user's spiritual pressure. The user then begins to spin the sword continuously until the blades are moving so fast that they cannot be see (takes a total of 2-4 seconds). The user then points the spinning sword at their opponent and then the sword fires the spiritual pressure at the enemy. The combination of the gathered spiritual pressure and the spinning of the sword create a powerful "drill" that could seriously damage most opponents. Unfortunately, if the opponent is able to get out of the way of the blast or is able to disrupt the preparation, then the attack is useless. Otherwise, look out.

Bankai: Kamisama Tenshi (God's Angel)

Bankai Appearance: Kamisama Tenshi is a giant double-edged sword. The hilt of the sword is 12 inches long and is gold with white insets. The crossguard, which is 10 inches long, is completely consumed by the blade. The blade is 55 inches long and has a two tone color. The color of one side of the blade is white and the other is gold. This Bankai does have a weakness. If the opponent is able to slash off the bottom of the hilt, the Bankai will disentigrate and cannot be reformed unitl 24 hours have passed.

Bankai Ability: (Hijiri Kyuushuu: Holy Absorption) This a defensive technique. The blade splits right down the middle and then opens up like a crocodile's mouth. With it open, Hijiri Kyuushuu absorbs all of the spiritual pressure of the opponent and then adds it to the spiritual pressure of Kamisama Tenshi's user. It can also be used to absorb active attacks, such as Cero and Kido. THIS ABILITY IS ABLE TO LAST FOR UP TO 30 SECONDS. IF THE USER DOES NOT STOP THE TECHNIQUE, THE SWORD WILL BEGIN TO ABSORB HIS OWN SPIRITUAL PRESSURE. THE RANGE OF THE ATTACK IS A 100 FOOT RADIUS AROUND THE USER (THIS INCLUDES ANY ENEMIES IN THE AIR). THIS MOVE CAN BE DODGED IF THE OPPONENT IS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE 100 FOOT RADIUS BEFORE THE ATTACK STARTS. THEY CAN GET OUT DURING THE ATTACK IF THEY HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY LEFT.

Bankai Attack: (Kamisama Shinpan Sutoraiku: God's Judgment Strike) This is Kamisama Tenshi's offensive technique. THE TECHNIQUE BEGINS BY POINTING THE SWORD AT THE OPPONENT, WHICH SENDS A BEAM OF LIGHT AT HIM THAT WILL PARALYZE HIM AND SHINE AROUND HIM FOR THE DURATION OF THE PARALYSIS. The user then converges almost all of his spiritual pressure into the blade and then jumps high into the air. After getting as high as he can (which is usually between 150-300 feet), the user swings Kamisama Tenshi over their head. AT THIS TIME THE OPPONENT IS STILL PARALYZED. AS YOU COME DOWN FOR THE FINAL SLASH, THERE IS A 7 SECOND WINDOW OF TIME FOR THE OPPONENT TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE ATTACK, AS THEY ARE NO LONGER PARALYZED. The impact can be so great that, if it does not kill the opponent (which is not likely), it will most likely cripple him. The attack can be sped up by using Shunpo and can be charged up even more by using Kamisama Tenshi's Hijiri Kyuushuu.

Tashigi: 'jumps up and startled' WHOA!-wait Principle Ace youre back?!

Yamamoto breaks a small grin: Tashigi, you're so concentrated on the fight you didn't notice Ace walk right by you.

Tashigi: 'scratches his head' sorry, commander i was studying how they fight. So Ace how was your trip?

Ace ignores him and turns to the battle as if he didnt realize they been battling for awhile.

Ace: Wow! look at the students. They're bigger than me!! I wonder if they would think im a student. 'shrugs'



Hideyoshi: 'notices Ace' Hey do you know who that child is?

Wukong: eh? I don't know, he seems pretty close to the principle and commander. 'squints to get a better look'

Hideyoshi: I wonder who he is, you think he is gonna fight.

They both look back where Ace was to see he's not there.

Both: huh?!

Ace: Hello students!!

Both are startled to see the boy (Ace) behind him.

Hideyoshi: Why are you calling us "students"? you're younger than us and probably weaker.

Ace: 'giggles' You guys think im a student? 'Both nod' Oh gosh, you guys weren't lying. LOOK AT THE SIGN IN FRONT OF YOU!!! 'points to a poster'

Wukong reads it: "Welcome Students to Shinigami Academy. Meet your Priniciples Ace and Tashigi...." 'looks at the picture'

Hideyoshi: Oh gosh!, dude you really are the principle. We're soo sorry Principle Ace.

Ace: hehe, its okay i just came by to say hi..."HI" 'waves then dissappears'

Ace is seen back by the Commander and Tashigi


Wukong: thats our principle?? his very-

Hideyoshi:interesting, weird, silly?

wukong: yea. How did he become a Principle?

Hideyoshi: Idont know but that just means he must be good, and that he can really do stuff.

Everyone gets back to the fight.

'Kaoru looks up at his bankai as he hovers above her'

Kaoru: Thats your bankai? Interesting. Well, you won't see mine. I won't need it.

Ryu: Cocky, ain't ya?

Kaoru: No, just confident.

'She suddenly grows bubbles from her pores, and the join to form a full body armor'

Kaoru: Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hado 63, Raikoho!

'Ryu Backs off to avoid the blast, but nothing happens'

Ryu: Hah! You really are an idiot! You must have used to high a spell!

'Ryu flies in to attack, and right as he is about to hit, Kaoru smiles, and vanishes from sight' (No, not shunpo)

Ryu: What?! Where is she!?

'Ryu flies back up to see the arena from above, but as he does he hears Kaoru'

Kaoru: Bakudo 1, Sai.

'Ryus arms become trapped, and he flapps around trying to regain control'

Kaoru: Bakudo 4, hainawa.

'Ryu still ca't see her, but an energy rope comes at him and makes it impossible to flap his wings, so he falls to the ground. Kaoru appears right in front of him, and holds a bubble to his face'

Kaoru: You thought it was too strong a spell for me to use? No, this is where my Raikoho went.

'Ryu's eyes go wide at what she is suggesting'

Kaoru: You put up a good fight, but you aren't good enough to beat me. Sorry in advance for all the time in the hospital.

'Kaoru walks away a bit, and flicks the bubble straight at Ryu. When it hits, the bubble bursts, and all of the power from the Raikoho being condensed in the bubble explodes in his face'

Kaoru: You were pretty good, but not good enough for me.

'She walks from the cloud of dust left from the explosion'

(Hovering in mid-air) Ryu: Once again I underestimated by opponent and they underestimated me.

(She turns around with a shocked looked on her face) Kaoru: How the Hell did you survive that?!

Ryu: When you turned around and flicked your bubble at me, I used the opening to activate Bakudo #8: Seki. I knew exactly what you were going to do once you used Hado 63. It was clever but, by showing me that you could combine your shikai with kido, it was only a matter of time before you used a big technique.

Kaoru: So you just waited for me to do something that could have killed you just so that you could prove that you could block it? That was careless.

Ryu: No it wasn't. We are supposed to prove why we should become teachers in this tournament through our knowledge, not to prove who is the strongest. That is the real reason that I released my bankai.

(In his seat) Tashigi: So he had already thought everything out about Kaoru's abilities from the beginning.

Yamamoto: No, he thought everything out about her strategy. He figured out her abilities when she revealed them to him. He knew that due to her small size, Kaoru would be a speed fighter, a long-range fighter, or both. Once he figured that out, he just waited for the opportune moment to prove himself.

(Back in the arena) Ryu: Now to finish this. Bakudo 30, Shitotsu Sansen.

(Kaoru is taken by surprise and is pinned to the arena floor.)

Kaoru: What is going on here and how did you use such a high level technique?!

(Staring up at the clouds) Ryu: I learned it a long time ago. In fact it is the first kido technique that I learned to use. (Turning back towards Kaoru) Now to finish the fight. I said that I wasn't going to cut you again and I won't. But I will use a technique that will be somewhat painful.

Kaoru: And how are you going to do that?

Ryu: Just watch. Kazan Supairaru!

(Ryu begins to spin around with a vortex of fire engulfing his body. He directs his spinning body towards Kaoru, who is still on pinned to the ground, and lauches himself toward her head-first. He was not going to aim for her, instead he had aimed himself ten feet from the right side of her body. However, just before he hit the ground, Ryu made a dead stop in mid-air when he heard a voice that he thought he would never hear again.)

???: I think you have proven your point Ryu.

(Now stopped spinning, he is looking down at his hands) Ryu: No way, it can't be. I saw the owner of that voice ended long ago! (Tears coming to his eyes, he looks up to the arena seats and sees her) Senna! You're alive?!

Senna: Are you happy to see me?

(Still in shock) Ryu: I...I...(he then shunpos away from the arena and then masks his spiritual pressure)

Senna: Oh, Ryu.

Yamamoto: This match has now ended. It is clear that the winner of this match is Ryu. (He then releases Kaoru from the bakudo) You are dismissed Kaoru, but you did well.

(Thinking to herself) Kaoru: If that attack had hit I would have definitely been knocked out for a good long while. If it hadn't of been for that girl. Who is she, I wonder. (She then bows and speaks) Thank you Captain-Commander. (and walks out of the arena)

(Back in his room, he is crying furiously) Ryu: How can she be alive, how?! I saw it happen, I made it happen! I KILLED her long ago! (in his mind) and I have hated myself for it ever since.

Sekhmet: (look at Tashigi) This is absolutely boring, I would prefer to have another opponent.

Maurz: I'm not done yet...I am a teacher for a reason!

Sekhmet: Oh, no, you're done. (she turns and though she says it silently, it is clear). Byakurai (a bolt of bluish lightning darts from her finger, which was pointed back at Maurz. Its blazing speed is almost overwhelming to him, he barely dodges it)

Maurz: (he shunpos out of danger, but before he can recover from his last escape he is struck with a binding spell)

Sekhmet: Shitotsu Sansen (the triangulr shape forms and three beams pin him to the ground) Rather than exert myself more than I have to, I can simply immobilize you.

Maurz: (he stares at her with surprise) You tricked me!!!

Sekhmet: You tricked yourself, by simply believing you could win this duel. Have you ever faced against a sokatsui?

Maurz: OF COURSE (struggled to break free)!

Sekhmet: Well, I doubt one this potent and painful (Maurz's eyes widen as she raises her hand and her face emotionless) Hado 33, Sokatsui. (The fiery energy explodes from her palm, setting the whole area a-glow)

Tashigi: (his eyes are enlarges and his facial expression had changed). What power...

Maurz: (The energy is so intense, it is blinding him and it strikes him head on. The shear power rips through the binding spell and shatters the ground. Once the dust settles, Maurz is unconscious in his own blood, amongst the rubble).

Sekhmet: Once again, that battle was absolutely boring and pointless. He barely did a thing to stop me.


I was sick of waiting! The end.

Tashigi: Ace (still focusing on battlefield, he taps Ace) go help him, I'm too busy figuring out how she can pull off such kido.

Ace: (shrugs) Okay. (He stands up and leaps off the balcony where they were watching)

Maurz: ugghhh, what happened. (still laying on the ground, with his eyes closed)

Ace: She kicked you're butt, oh wells, we need to take you to the hospital so the 4th squad can tend to your injuries.

Everyone watches as Ace picks up Maurz, who by the way is bigger the Ace. Then shunpos away.



After dropping Maurz to the hospital, Ace walks back to the school.

In the hallways he bumps into Sekhmet

Sekhmet: Uhh, little child, you almost got my clothes dirty. (dusts off her clothes) Watch where you be stepping.

Ace: (bows) Well im sorry, your highness, for bumping into like this, but you must know i'm one of the following principles here.

Sekhmet unimpressed: I see, so they let children run the academy no wonder why most of the students here have the mentality of a second grader.

Ace: True. Many, don't realize that they have more to learn. But it's okay, thats why they're in the school, to learn and better their current skills. Right?

Sekhmet: Touche. Well i have had enough trying to talk to babies. So ill be ending this conversation and taking me leave now.

Ace: Well nice meeting you (bows)

Sekhmet doesnt return the feeling and leaves.


Ace: Whatever, i shouldnt feel like she hates me, she hates everyone. (giggles to himself and goes back to the arena)



Tashigi: Who wants to battle next?

Back to Ryu

(after calming down) Ryu: I don't know how I can face her. I KILLED her, or at least I thought I did. Maybe she will forgive me, but even if she doesn't I have to tell her.

(Ryu opens the door to his room and is taken aback by the appearance of Wukong and Hideyoshi.)

Wukong: Why'd you run off like that? Did she scare you that much.

Hideyoshi: Maybe he just gets embarrassed when he sees pretty girls.

Ryu: Would you two get off my case...I gotta get going

(Ryu walks off, leaving Wukong and Hideyoshi standing at his room's door.)

Wukong: I wonder what that was about.

Hideyoshi: Beats me.

(Ryu walks out into the school's courtyard and finds Senna sitting under a tree.)

(He approaches her) Ryu: Senna I...

(She cuts him off) Senna: I'm sorry for interrupting your match.

Ryu: It's fine. I probably overdid it anyway.

Senna: For three years I've searched for you, and I finally found you in the one place that I never expected to find you. I've been wanting to ask you one thing for the past three years: Why did you leave me in the forest?

Ryu: Because I thought that I had killed you.

Senna: What do you mean you thought that you had killed me?!

Ryu: Do you remember the day that I achieved bankai, the day that giant Hollow appeared and took you hostage.

Senna: Yeah, I remember. It was the last day that I ever saw you.

Ryu: That day, I used the same combination that I used against Kaoru. I had pinned the hollow down and was going in for the killing blow. (Tears are starting to form around Ryu's eyes) But before I hit him, he pulled you in front of him. The last thing that I remember seeing before my attack hit was the look of terror in your eyes. When I came to, I saw you lying in a pool of your own blood. (Tears are now rolling down his cheeks) I took your body into my arms and tried to revive you, but I couldn't do it. Then I saw the hollow standing there, laughing...

Senna: Ryu I...

(He interrupts her) Ryu: Please let me finish. I laid you down on the ground and then let my anger take over. This was the first time that I did so. I slashed that monster so many times that I lost count. After he was finished, I ran back over to you and again tried to revive you, but to no avail. Not knowing what to do, I left you there to let you soul die in peace and traveled throughout the Soul Society so that I could try to forget the pain. For so long I have hated myself for what I did to you, for so long I wanted to apologize to you; but I knew that I would never get the chance. (He drops to his knees) Now I am begging you to forgive me for what I did before I lose the chance again.

Senna: Ryu, it was those attempts to save my life that ACTUALLY saved me.

Ryu: What? But you did not wake up afterwards. I waited for days and you never once showed signs of a weak pulse! How?!

Senna: I don't know exactly. All I know is that you saved me, and all I have wanted to do (she takes his hands) is to say, "Thank you, Ryu."

(Stunned) Ryu: "Thank...you..." After everything that I did, you are thanking me?

Senna: Of course, is that so hard to believe?

Ryu: It just seems like that everything that I have dreamed about since that day. Thank you, Senna. (Ryu smiles for the first time since her appearance)

Senna: Now let's go and watch the remainder of the tournament together.

(As the both stand up) Ryu: Sounds good to me.

Senna: By the way, the Captain-Commander declared you the winner of your match. (And they leave for the arena together.)

(After spying on them from a rooftop, Kaoru shunpos down to the courtyard surface.)

Kaoru: So that's what made him leave before the end of our match...All that stress for that amount of time. It's no wonder that he has anger issues. Maybe if he is able to get some friends he can improve.

Sekhmet: (Looking out the window at the area) This place is enough to stifle anyone. Some serious changes will have to surface soon!

(her royal court stand behind her)

Galgalzzi: Perhaps we should implement what we discussed at the palace.

(she glances at Galgalzzi from her periphery)

Zalbeseal: I must agree with you Sekhmet-sama. This place is much too rigid.

Veznesel: (floats in her cloudy mass) You realize the situation you've placed yourself in, correct? You're bound to this wretched place.

Yashnamiesh: This place has a particular air about it (smiling).

Sekhmet: Get me those girls.

???: Right away (fades into the shadows).

Zalbeseal: What do you desire them for?

Sekhmet: They'll make perfect proteges.

Gagalzzi: (grins) You value their talents, I see.

Sekhmet: They're certainly quite unique. With enough care and nurturing, they could be quite productive and influential. Lets return to the area and continue watching these hopefuls battle.

(she walks out behind Yamamoto, Ace, and Tashigi).

Ace: Well, hello! Back so...(she walks right by him and beside Yamamoto).

Tashigi: Snobby, royal...

Ace: She certainly is unpleasant.

Yamamoto: I am surprised you went that far.

Sekhmet: (she smirks and continues looking forward) Would you have preferred I obliderate him when he first attacked?

Yamamoto: It would have been your typical response, Sekhmet.

Sekhmet: Perhaps. Unless that is how I always intend to portray myself. After all, this could all be an illusion, Yamamoto-sama. (she turns to him with a half smile). Things aren't always what they appear to be.

Yamamoto: (continues looking at the battles). Indeed. You now have the title of a professor, so you may be correct (before he can finish she vanishes below, beside Nuvem, Poeira, Traea, and Farfalla)

What could she be discussing with them?

(In the arena stands)

Ryu: We might want to sit in the middle of the stands so that we can get a better view.

Senna: Good idea.

(As they sit down, Wukong and Hideyoshi enter, followed later by Kaoru.)

Wukong: Congratulations on winning your match, Ryu. I guess that means you're a teacher now.

(Smiling) Ryu: Thanks, but I still think that her last attack would have ended it if I hadn't have used that bakudo.

Hideyoshi: You're right. You need to improve or I might have to forcibly take away your teaching position.

(Laughing) Ryu: I guess you're right about that. By the way, this is Senna. (He introduces them to her) She grew up with me while I lived in the forest from the time I was ten.

Senna: I wonder who is going to fight next.

Wukong: I don't know.

Hideyoshi: Beats me.

Ryu: It'll probably be Jin and Blaze. They are getting impatient.

Kaoru: Hey, how's it going.

Hideyoshi: What are you doing here, Kaoru?

Kaoru: I wanted to watch the rest of the tournament.

(Ryu then stands up and walks over to Kaoru and bows.)

Ryu: I wish to once again apologize for fighting like I did earlier. I never WANT to fight like that, much less win by using that power.

(Embarrassed, she punches him hard in the face) Kaoru: Yeah, yeah you already apologized. You don't have to keep doing it.

Ryu: Alright, I'll take your word for it.

(Senna, Wukong, and Hideyoshi laugh at the spectacle and they sit down.)

Wukong: Get in your seats you two, the match is about to begin!

(Smiling and thinking to herself) Senna: Well Ryu, it seems like you finally found a set of decent friends.

Tashigi: Blaze, Jin, you are up. Take to the ring

Blaze: Lets go.

Jin: Hm.

Jin and Blaze both shunpo into the arena and prepare.

Blaze: This will be fun. (A grin forms on his face)

Jin: I hope so.

Tashigi: Begin

In a quick movemnt both fighters swords were locked. Breaking away, their sword fly through the air, making contact and seperating quickly.

Blaze: Your good, but we both no this battle isn't going full course.

Jin: Then let us quicken the pace.

They both shunpo and reappear with fasinating speed, doing it again and again, increasing how fast they move.

Blaze: I am having to much fun with this fight.

Jin: Say what you will i will win.

Their intensity increases and they move so fast they leave images of where they originally were behind, each forms zanpakutos connecting, and then disapating after a time. Explosions on the ground from were they land with great ferosity.

Tashigi: These two are fast. I can just keep up with them.

Yamamoto: They are most likely the two fastest people here.

With a sudden stop, both oppenents show signs of taking damage from one another. Each having one serious wound and multiple small equally bad wounds.

Blaze: We'll Damn, were making a mess of the arena with all this damage were doing.

Thinking to himself Jin: Well I think that using my shikai wouldn't hurt to see if he can handle it.

They both charge at eachother again.

Ryu: It's so cold.

???: You're quite the shinigami, boy.

Ryu: Who is that? (he is standing, but sees only darkness).

???: Trivial in reference to your current position. However, the relevant component is that girl. She's important to you.

Ryu? SENNA?! DONT TOUCH HER!

???: You're in no position to bark orders, boy.

Ryu: Where are we?

???: At the academy, of course.

Ryu: Show yourself!

???: I think i'll gut your friends, so when your vision returns you'll see them.

Ryu: WHAT?!?!

???: It's not within my nature, however.

Ryu: (he reaches for his sword and unsheathes it) FIGHT ME!

???: Interesting. You're completely vulnerable and you wish to fight?

(in the distance)

Senna: RYU!

Ryu: I hear her...(the shadows begin to dissipate.

Ryu: Where are you? Playing mind games?

???: (the young male appears, standing tall compared to many. His eyes are a dark, glossy green and his hair is as black as tar. It drapes across his forehead and slightly covers his left eye. His eyes are emotionless, face apathetic in appearance, and his skin pale. He stands with his hands in his pockets, making all around him unsettled. His presence is chilling and yet overwhelming. He looks at Senna and back at ryu. The sun glares off his hair, and at the tips of his hair, on the back of his head, there are silver plates winding around them. They appear light, as they blow int he wind). Are you satisfied, boy?

(Blaze recognizes the spiritual pressure and peers over at the man)

Blaze: Its...him! The same one that trapped me in that darkness.

???: (he turns and looks at Blaze. His eyes are surrounded with a blackness, all you see are his bright green eyes). Hmph. He'll lose that fight if he does not focus.

Ryu: Who are you?

???: I am a member of Sekhmet's royal court.

Senna: (she backs up) Why are you here?

???: What a silly question, girl. It wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had disposed of you, after all. It appears you're questions illustrate your worth.

Wukong: WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU!

???: Raising your tone will not change the truth.


(Sekhmet is seen talking to the four sisters. She looks at azriel and smirks).

(suddenly, Senna is thrusted backward and crashes into a tree. Wukong is catapulted into a building. Ryu, stands there, in awe at what just happened. He looks at the man and grinds his teeth).

Ryu: YOU! (he swipes his sword, and gets a clean cut right through his torso)

???: (his face goes blank and his body falls into two pieces)

Ryu: NOT SO TOUGH!

Blaze still at the fight.

Blaze: Damn it, it was him again.

Jin: Pay attention to your battles.

Jin swings at Blaze, He moves just in time and recived a small cut to his torso.

Thinking to himself Blaze: I'll get that monster. After, this fight.

Returning to Ryu and his companions

Ryu: Damn, that was too easy. I've got to be on my guard if I don't want to die. (In his mind) I've gotta save Senna and the others before I start worrying about myself though.

(The voice of the mystery man can be heard but he is not seen anywhere) ???: Taking so long in your judgment will cost you dearly. But I wonder, who should I take from you first. Should I take your newly found friends, or should I take the only person that you have ever loved? Decisions...decisions...

(Now angered, his eyes glowing red now) Ryu: If you touch them, any of them, again...I WILL kill you!!!

???: You can't kill what you can't see. That is just a simple fact. Now to end your annoyance.

Ryu: What?!

(Ryu then feels an intense spiritual pressure surround him and then feels what seemed like one thousand slashes against his body. When the spiritual pressure disappears, blood pours out from Ryu's body and he falls to his knees.)

Ryu: This wasn't supposed to happen. I was supposed to be able to protect them. That was the promise I made: to protect all those that I cared about.

???: It is your compassion that made you vulnerable. Your time is ended...(the voice has disappeared for now)

(As he falls face forward) Ryu: We'll see about that. (He then falls unconscious from the loss of blood)

(Wukong climbs out of the rubble and looks around in confusion.)

Wukong: Damn...what happened? (He looks over at Ryu.) Oh, no!

(Senna begins to come to after being driven into the tree.)

(Eyes still closed) Senna: Ryu...Ryu...are you alright? Please say something. (She opens her eyes and sees Ryu in the pool of blood. She screams) RYU!!!!!!!!

Back to the fight between Blaze and Jin.

Blaze: We need to stop this fight Jin.

Blaze: Look if we don't stop then we won't be able to defend ourselves if this thing attacks us.

Jin: I don't care, We are going to finish this match.

Blaze: Fine, then I'll finish it quickly.

'A woman wearing regal clothing and a crown is seen sitting on a flying sphere. On her back, there is a golden paintbrush'

Chuushooha Oojo: You will need to work for this power. It will not come easily.

Amaya: I know that. Now, enough talk.

'Amaya draws her sword, and Chuushooha Oojo takes her paintbrush'

'Kaoru sits in a tree watching Jin and Blaze battle. All of the sudden, a hand comes out of nowhere and pats her on the head'

Kaoru: Hey!

Tashigi: Sorry. Just thought you needed some cheering up.

'Kaoru bats his hand away': I don't need cheering up. I will fight him later, and take back the teacher position.

Tashigi: If thats what you want. Just remember, you lost the first time. It won;t be easy.

Kaoru: Hmph! Whatever. I'll be back later.

'Kaoru shunpos away, leaving Tashigi alone'

Tashigi: I guess I might as well continue grading Jin and Blaze.

'He leaves as well'

(Senna and Wukong run over to Ryu, checking to see if he has a pulse and if it would be safe to move him. Senna is crying but is able to compose herself for Ryu's sake.)

Senna: Wukong, does he have a pulse?

Wukong: He does, but it is very faint. If we move him we might kill him, but if we don't get help he will most definitely die.

Senna: Go and get help Wukong. I'll stay here with Ryu.

Wukong: Are you nuts?! What if that freak comes back and tries to kill you. I can't just leave you here!

Senna: Don't worry, I didn't get into the Academy for nothing. I can take care of myself...Now go to the Squad 4 barracks and get a medical team here as fast as possible.

Wukong: But...

Senna: Just go! Now!

Wukong: Alright (he shunpos away)

(To herself) Senna: Ryu, please just hold on a little longer. Just hold on.

(While in his unconscious state, Ryu is able to enter the realm of his zanpakuto.)

Ryu: It has been a long time since I saw this black sky and those blood red clouds.

???: It HAS been to long Ryu.

(Ryu looks up to see a giant black phoenix, with a blood red chest plate and outlined by fire.)

Ryu: Kasai Fenikkusu, I haven't been here since I achieved bankai.

Kasai Fenikkusu: I know. Now it is the time for you to train again.

Ryu: But I already mastered bankai why should I...

Kasai Fenikkusu: NO! You have not mastered bankai. You trained for it for only two days. Your battles today will count for half of a day, so you only have twelve more hours to train.

Ryu: I don't have time to train! I have to return to my body so that I can protect Senna!

Kasai Fenikkusu: If you return now, you WILL die. I can heal you while you train, but ONLY while you train. Once your body has completely healed, your training will be complete and you will have mastered bankai.

(Smiling) Ryu: Alright then, what is your challenge?

Kasai Fenikkusu: You must capture my body and force me into the bankai state. You will not be allowed to use a sword and you cannot use a kido of any kind. If you can do this within the twelve hour time limit, then we will truly be as one.

Ryu: That'll be easy.

Kasai Fenikkusu: I'm glad you are so confident. Let us begin!

(They both shunpo away.)

Sekhmet: (stands in front of Senna, Wukong, and Ryu). Your friend certainly recieved deep wounds.

Senna: He's going to die thanks to that vicious man!

Sekhmet: Oh, trust me, he could have killed him, but he didn't. I told him not to.

Wukong: WHAT?! YOU were behind this! (puts hand on hilt)

Sekhmet: Do not dare unsheath your sword, or their will be grave consequences child (her spiritual pressure is simultaneously unleashed, crippling wukong and senna. They fall to their knees)

Wukong: It's difficult to breathe...

Senna: Ryu...

Sekhmet: This is so pathetic.(waves hand) Bakudo 90: Temporal disintegration. (Ryu's wounds begin to heal rapidly).

Senna: He's healed! That was a powerful spell! How did you do it?

Sekhmet: (she doesn't acknowledge her question)He won't be waking anytime soon.

Wukong: Huh...

???: (shadows shape a humanoid form) He's comunicating with his zanpakuto spirit.

Sekhmet: Indeed. The struggle him to suvive and the desire for his zanpakuto to seek power has drawn them together.

Senna: Thank you...

Sekhmet: (glances at Blaze and Jin) As an authorative figure at this school, I believe its vital for our students to engage in healthy battling. It helps hone their skills and improve their stamina. Do you not agree?

???: (As he turns to glance at Sekhmet, he vanishes and appears beside Blaze and Jin). I believe this battle has become unproductive.

Blaze: YOU!

???: What a pleasure to meet your acquaintence once again, boy.

Blaze: We're in the midle of something...leave.

Jin: I suggest the same.

???: Well, I am afraid I cannot fullfill your request. I have specific instructions to implement some well-advised skill building experiences. Therefore, leaving is no longer an option.

Jin: If you don't leave, I will crush you.

???: You seem to have over stayed your welcome and tested my patience. Trash. Bakudo 70: Twelve gates. (With blazing speed, black walls form in a cylinder formation around Jin. The black walls begin connecting, energy jumping from surface to surface. The energy sparks with a lustery blue).

Jin: What spell is this...

???: The name is Azriel, royal guard and messenger for Sekhmet. And that, boy, is a powerful bakudo spell. You'll be in there for quite a while. Long enough for me to implement lessons two through six.

Jin: (the walls come together like the scales of a snake. Jin smashes his sword into the barrier, but is thrown back by the sheer power of the barriers defense.) Once I get out of here...

Azriel: (looks away from Jin, now compeltely barricaded within the barrier). That was lesson one, conceptualize an individual before you speak. The second lesson...(Wukong's blade is swung at Azriel, but he grabs it with his hand) battles are always a struggle between reitsu. (turns to look at Wukong)

Wukong: Whaa...t? (his sword is pulled from his hand and azriel stabs him in the stomach, and throws him in the distance).

Azriel: Remember, when you battle an opponent, it is important to assess their level of spiritual control and reitsu. His level of reitsu doesn't come to close to mine; therefore he cannot cut me. His blade may be sharp to other students, but to be its as dull as a wooden board.

Blaze: (eyes get wider) Mine shall be sharp! I am strong, I am powerful. I don't need any gaurd to tell me how to fight, I am, after all, training and will soon be a professor (as he finishes his sentence, he is punches in the face by azriel and catapulted backward. He smashes into several trees and lays in a pile of rubble).

Azriel: Lesson three, spend less time feeding your ego and more time predicting your opponents movements. Otherwise, it will result in grave consequences. Hubris has been many great warriors downfall.

Blaze: (removes himself from the rubble, his face is bleeding and r clothes ripped from the impact). Bastard...(he vanishes and appears beside Azriel and slams his sword through azriel's chest)

Azriel: Your dream of victory is fading with every attempt (his body fades and blows away in the wind)

Blade: What...a fake?! (Blade is suddenly slammed in the back and thrown forward, he is met with Azriel's foot in kicking him int he air. Azriel then appears above him and kicks him so hard he shatters the ground when he smashes into it.)

Azrel: Lesson four, never let your guard down. Otherwise, you are leaving yourself vulnerable for attack.

Blade: (arises from the rubble bloody and tattered). How did you accomplish the feat of vanishing without using shunpo?

Azriel: Among my many valuable skills. Perhaps, after these lessons I can educate you on the matter.

Blade: (grinds teeth) Worthless bastard. That is all you are. (he vanishes and appears beside Azriel. He swings his sword while azriel dodges it. Finally, he grazes his arm). Ha! Got you!

Azriel: It is very good you are taking this battle more seriously than before. You must have acknowledges the significane of the situation.

Blade: Hah. Don't give yourself so much credit...(his facial expression changes from a smirk to suprise. Azriel's shirt was sword by the blade, but not his skin. No blood, no wound).

Azriel: I gather from your bewildered expression, you have realized I am not wounded. What a shame, you did not learn from my second lession. Allow me to implement lession five. (He rushes toward blaze with blinding speed. Blaze jumps back and conjures a sokatsui)

Azriel: (he bats the attack away with one hand and another flies toward him. He simply bats the second away. This time, Azriel has a blade hurtling toward his head. He raises a fingur and stops the blade)

Blaze: SOKATSUI! (the attack smashes into azriel, creating a plume of smoke). Haha!(before he can begin celebrating, azriel's voice softly says...)

Azriel: Hado 80: Cosmic River (A brilliance light bursts through the clouds of smoke. The light is accompanied by a liquidy mass of pink and black energy that collides with Blaze. It completely envelopes him and all that is seen is the mass, flowing like a river, and smashing into the ground, destroying all around it.

Tashigi: I've never seen anyone perform that kido spell...

Ace: You must remember, Tashigi, each level possesses many spells. The level only indicates the level of difficulty. Each level is capable of having numberous spells, which can be cast.

Tahsigi: I'm just surprised...that attack was so amazing.

Ace: It certainly was. I'm not even familiar with that attack.

Azriel: Lesson five, never assume you have finished your opponent with simply one blow. It is unwise, especially at your level. I think it is time for lession six, boy.

(the ground is shatters, building ruined, and the area scarred from the attack).

Blaze: (lays on the ground, bloody and weak). What was that...

Azriel: You must truly learn and embody these lessons, boy. The final one, however, will be the most important.

Blaze: (barely able to get up, sees blood dripping from his body).


Sekhmet: (she watches Azriel and blaze) I can only imagine what lesson six is. (smiles).

(Senna begins to look around at the battlefield before her. She is horrified by every thing she see's, especially of what happened to Ryu before Sekhmet healed him.)

(She turns to Sekhmet) Senna: You...you planned all of this. Ryu's injury, Blaze and Jin's fight...you planned all of this chaos and pain! You'll pay for this. (She unsheathes her sword.) Protect Mankind, Tenshi! (and her shikai appears)

(Sekhmet turns her gaze from Azriel and Blaze to see what Senna is talking about) Sekhmet: Hmmm...what are you babbling about?

(Senna charges at her) Take this! Bakudo 63, Sajo Sabaku. (but Sekhmet disappears before the chains tighten and reappears ten feet away.)

Sekhmet: You can't beat me with such weak kido.

Senna: Then take this! Tengoku Hikari. (The blast almost reaches Sekmet, but she shunpos away)

Sekhmet: Again, such weak attacks will have no effect against me.

Sekhmet: (her royal court begin to unsheath their swords) No! I can effectively deal with this child. You're allowing your emotions to get the best of you.

Senna: No, I am avenging the fallen. SOKATSUI! (The attack is stopped by sekhmet's hand)

Sekhmet: This is too funny. And you unleashed your sword...(she vanishes and ends up behind Senna. She punches her in the back and she slams into the ground. She begins thrashing her around. She kicks him across the ground, vanishes, appears, and kicks her once more).

Senna: (recovers and slashes at Sekhmet, but Sekhmet catches her blade and pulls towards her. Senna is pulled foward and Sekhmet punches her int he face, throwing her into a building).

Sekhmet: (she glances at her royal court) Here she is trying to avenge others and making absolutely no progress. (a giant flaming ball hurtles toward Sekhmet and smashes into her)

Senna: I will teach you to manipulate people!!!

Sekhmet: (the smoke clears and Sekhmet has lost her smile) You truly want to engage in battle with me, little girl? (she places her hand on her hilt)

(Her royal court vanish the moment she touches her hilt and appear, far, far in the distance)

Senna: ...(panting from exhaustion)

Sekhmet: Those attacks take a lot out of you. Normally, I wouldn't do this, but to teach trash a valuable lesson. (unsheaths sword that emits a gigantic shockwave as she calmly says) set the air ablaze, cenusa fuoco (a fountain of flames and searing molten fire roars from zanpakuto as it lights up the whole soul society. It scorches and reduces everything around her to nothingness. The fire rolls across the arena incinerating everything in its path. It flows like a mighty ocean, surrounding Senna with a body of searing flames. As Senna stares at the unbelievable and mighty spectacle, she witnesses the bright flames gush from one another and consume countless objects.

Yamamot: (he stands up and opens his eyes) WHAT IS SHE THINKING?!

Tashigi: ...she's destroying everything!

Ace: She seems to be controlling the flames relentless destruction. (everyone int he area is vanishing and taking safe distance).

Senna: (she begins to sweat, and become weak as the heat produced is overwhelming)

Sekhmet: Be careful, if you come in contact with my flames, you will certainly perish. You better help save Ryu, if he gets caught in my flames, all that will be left is a burnt corpse.

(Yamamoto is seen grabbing his sword in the distance)

(Sekhmet then has the flames rush towards Senna.) Sekhmet: Let us see how you handle this.

(Senna sees the flames coming toward her and she has become to exhausted to move.)

Senna: I can't move, I can't even raise my sword...I guess this is the end.

(Suddenly a massive spiritual pressure appears and Senna sees someone standing in front of her facing Sekhmet. The power is so strong that it has dispersed the flames headed towards Senna.)

Ryu: Didn't I tell you that I would kill anyone that tried to hurt her.

(Senna is astonished to see Ryu awake and so strong. She is taken aback by how strong his spiritual pressure has become.)

Senna: Ryu you're ok?!

(Looking back at Senna) Ryu: Yep, I'm better than ever. (He turns to Sekhmet) You know, I sensed your intervention Sekhmet. It was because you healed me that I was able to get so much stronger in such a short amount of time.

Sekhmet: Really, I hadn't sensed anything different about you than I did before, the only thing that has changed is a heightened level of arrogance in you. I don't take kindly to insects calling me by name.

Ryu: Sorry...I guess I'll have to work on that. You said that nothing about me is different. That is not true, and I will prove it to you. Burn into the Skies, Kasai Fenikkusu.

Sekhmet: I have already seen your shikai. (she sees its new form) What is that? That wasn't the shikai you used against Azriel.

Ryu: You're right. You thought that by training only my bankai would get stronger. That was a mistake that I made as well. By training for twelve hours in my zanpakuto's realm, both my shikai AND bankai changed.

(The appearance has changed greatly. The cloth wrapped around the hilt is now black. The whole blade is now burgundy colored. And at the top of the point where the wings split, there is now a double-edged sword's tip.)

Sekhmet: No matter what has changed, I can still destroy you. Now let us begin.

Ryu: Please wait a moment. (Ryu turns around, picks Senna up, and takes her to where Captain Yamamoto is sitting.)

Senna: Why did you bring me here?

Ryu: Because you are tired and I don't want you getting more hurt than you already have. (He then turns to Yamamoto) Please make sure she does not interfere.

Yamamoto: Very well. I will keep her here for you.

Ryu: Thank you, sir. (He shunpos away)

Yamamoto: You should be proud. He has gotten stronger just so that he can protect you. Now watch, and see the results of his training.

Senna: Yes sir.

(To Sekhmet) Ryu: Now lets begin.

Sekhmet: Very well.

These are the two attacks for Kasai Fenikkusu's Shikai.

Shikai Attack 1: (Boukaheki Surasshu: Fire Wall Slash) The attack is virtually the same as before, but now more spriritual pressure is released through the attack and the double effect has evolved into a Triple Effect.

Shikai Attack 2: (Shōkyaku Burasuto: Incineration Blast) The blade becomes lava and disconnects from the hilt. The lava then flies at the opponent and tries hit the opponent. The attacks range is 50 feet and is 2-dimensional. In other words, it can only travel straight. Once the 50 foot mark is reached, the lava returns to the hilt (like a boomarang).

Sekhmet: So, you probably think you're quite tough,boy.

Ryu: I easily disrupted your flames.

Sekhmet: Look around you, you're surrounded by zanpakuto. It quite funny how such a loathsome creature can speak to my the way you have. I am comforted, however. When this battles ends with your charred remains, I will still have the luxury or royal blood and lineage. And you, you will have nothing but spread heartache among your friends, especially that girl.

Ryu: (grinds his teeth). Arrogant.

Sekhmet: (she laughs). There is nothing arrogant about the way in which I behave. My zanpakuto has swallowed enemies with much greater power than yours. I realize you ventured on a journey to empower yourself, but it won't help.

Ryu: Huh?

Sekhmet: Do you think that I would have been asked to become a professor by Yamamoto personally if I were not capable of dismissing weaklings like yourself?

Ryu: What are you talking about?

Sekhmet: The fact of the matter is as we speak Yamamoto has his hand upon his sword, waiting to intervene. Oh, and trust me, he does not intend to come to my aid, rather save someone who truly needs it. ...you. (the flames from her zanpakuto bellow all over the area, giving the impression that they are surrounded by an ocean of fire). My zanpakuto is no simple fire-type. Contrary, actually. It's quite special, which is why I was nurtured by Yamamoto himself.

Ryu: What? (He looks up at Yamamoto and back at Sekhmet).

Sekhmet: I can tell you're quite suprised. After all, you think i'm quite villainous and he fostered it. Oh, by the way, you best run.

(Flames consumes the ground ryu is on as he leaps to avoid them. The heat burns his flesh, causing serious injury).

Ryu: Ah...damnit. Even without touching me those flames are dangerous.

Sekhmet: There is no way to extinguish my flames. many have tried and many have failed. There is only one person in the whole soul society that is capable of combating my flames).

Ryu: SOKATSUI! (the energy is consumed by the flames) TENRAN ( a whirlwind belts from his hands, but the flames simply squash the attack and it feeds the roaring fire). What am I going to do...

Sekhmet: The true arrogance is eminating from you, Ryu.

Ryu: (stares at her through the flames)

Sekhmet: Do you think you can save her from death? How trite and presumptuous. Not even the most powerful of warriors can escape death, so what makes you think you're different?

Ryu: What are you talking about? I will always keep her safe!

Sekhmet: That is a fleeting idea, boy. There is no possible way to cheat death or counter someones fate. Therefore, you do not have the capacity to keep her from harm, not forever anyway. And if you can't save her forever then she will die.

Ryu: You...

Sekhmet: Watch your tongue, you are in front of royalty. For you, Ryu, are the true insect. An insignificant weak natured degenerate trying to play shinigami.

Ryu: (tries to get near Sekhmet but the flames consume all available space. They surround him)

Sekhmet: Acecho, Cenusa Fuoco. (flames swirl around him and begin to dart out and he tries to fend them off with his blade, but they burn his clothes and flesh. One flame wraps around his zanpakuto and hand causing him to drop his zanpakuto. It is consumed by the flames) Look now, you're defensless.

Ryu: (stands amongst the flames not knowing what to do next) If all the attacks I throw are consumed by the flames and my zanpakuto is now, too, what do I do?

Yamamoto: ENOUGH! RYUJIN JAKKA! (flames bolt from his zanpakuto and smash into Sekhmet's like a wave upon rocks. It begins to squash her flames and drive them back)

Sekhmet: So now you decide to intervene. (she takes her blade and begins to sheath it, flames returning to her blade and sinking into her sheath. Her sword sheath, smoke slighly rises from it) Fine, I know when I am commanded to stop my assault. You are safe, you degenerate trash.

Ryu: Yamamoto-sama...

Yamamoto: (sheathes his sword) This is over! No more destruction and chaos.

Sekhmet: (She turns around and begins to walk away, but mumbles something softly) Bakudo 50: Demon gate (A barrier erupts from the ground and boxes in Ryu)

Ryu: WHAT THE!

Yamamoto: (his eyes widen) DANKA!!!

Sekhmet: (As Yamamoto says Danka, sekhmet turns around and points her finger. Energy is rushing in, its overwhelming, compiling energy and building at her finger tip) Cepheres! (The energy erupts in a violent burst and hurtles toward Ryu. The splitting void conjured by Yamamoto is shatterd upon impact of Sekhmets attack. The energy rampages on and heads toward Ryu. Sekhmet makes a gesture with her hand and the demon gate forms an opening for the attack and it hurtles through with great speed consuming Ryu. The energy piles in the barrier and splashing around, oscillating like an ocean. The energy is so overwhelming it shatters the barrier and pours out all over the arena. The energy begins to dissipate and Ryu lays on the ground covered in blood).

Yamamoto: SEKHMET!!! (he shunpos in front of her, along with Tashigi and Ace) WHAT WAS THAT?! It resembled a...

Sekhmet: A cero...yes, of course it did. I designed it that way Yamamoto-sama.

Yamamoto: How disgusting! Why would you create an attack that resmbles that?

Sekhmet: It is a kido of my own creation, so its not a cero.

Tashigi: The energy was so similar...it was scary.

Ace: How did you do that, Sekhmet.

Sekhmet: (her royal court appear behind her) I believe, I should be on my way.

Tashigi is outraged to see she has no emotion, as he was about to yell at her Ace stops him

Tashigi: What are you doing?! (looks from Ace and Glares at Schkmet)

Ace: She is still royalty, no one can deny that. Therefore you must know your place.

Tashigi: (turns to Yamamoto) Commander, are you not... (Yamamoto lifts his hand to shush Tashigi)

Ace: (turns to Sekhmet stares right into her eye) Highness, you should take your leave now.

Sekhmet: (grins at Ace)I think ill let Azriel stay for a while longer (Turns and dissappears)


Tashigi: No ones gonna scold her for killing Ryu!!

Ace: He is not dead, idiot. Instead of crying why dont you go help him. (Tashigi is shocked from Ace's comment. Ace walks past him and moves to Ryu's body)

Senna: Ryu! wake up! say something! (takes his hand, and tears falling)

Ace: (points a finger at Ryu) Bakudo 90: Temporal disintegration. (Ryu's wounds slowly heal and his blood reverses into his body.)

Senna: Thats the kido, that Sekhmet used. How did you learn it?

Ace: im not the principle for no reason. I can learn fast. Stop crying now, or the sight of your crying will make his heart feel all the more depressed.

Senna tries to stop sobbing: thank you.

Ace: (stands there, till he see Ryu regain consciousness) There. (leaves)
