they are still friends. but not best friends anymore. they grew apart as they work and different parts of the world now. demi is somtimes in america filming sonny with a chance and sometime somewhere else filming camp rock 2. selena is in europe filming monte carlo. and i guess they just aren't as close. demi is best friends with miley cyrus now while selena's best friend is taylor swift. over a year ago

i thought the reason why they not close friends are that demi celebrated her birhday and selena didnt came to the birhtay because selena had shoot a musicvideo ....because of that was demi dissapointed with selena .....now they are not so close over a year ago
