I don't think it was right. I think this spoiler is just someones interpretation of various other spoilers. I think if this person can reason because of the comparison of Dair to the philadelphia story then I can reason that "the pauper" is a reference to the story "the prince and the pauper" and in the end Dan will be revealed to be Blair's prince in disguise as a pauper over a year ago
