I walk back along the road with Madi and Margi following again. I look up and c Cynder flying so I walk in2 a building and make my way 2 the roof. “Hey Cyn.” I say absently as she flies over 2 me.
“Kem.” she greets with a chirp.
“I think I have my 1st job 4 u.” I reply.
“Already?”
“Yes. I need u 2 follow a physic by the name of Clark.”
“May I ask y?”
“He's on the case now and he's investigating the NYC Demon cases. I don't think I've left any possible leads. In fact, I'm 110% sure I didn't...but he can talk 2 the dead.”

I jump as the face of Ray Richie appears before me, a look of both fear and expectancy in his eyes. Being able to talk to the dead is not as “cool” as you might think. The reason being that they all are stuck here for one reason of another and they need help. And, seeing as how not many others can even SEE them, much less hear from them, they rely solely on you. I look behind me, glancing around, and I sigh softly. I know I won't see them, but it's worth a try. They're bickering back and forth.
“You can't pretend you didn't like Jakey.” Madi says calmly. No matter the situation, she was always calm. She got that attitude from me, I think.

“i'm fine. Cross.” I reply with a sigh, catching the annoyance in my voice a second 2 late.
“well EXCUSE ME 4 caring! I promise i'll NEVER do it again!” she turns her back and stomps off....shit, not what I wanted.
