I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Original Pocahontas voice Judy Kuhn sings ‘Colors of the Wind’ in different styles | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
From 'Millie' to 'Fun Home': Composer Jeanine Tesori looks back on 10 songs she wrote
Here’s a potentially mind-blowing fact: Four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn, currently starring in the Broadway musical
Reading this, perhaps you sat back in your chair and crossed your arms and said, “I already knew that.” Well, fine. But everyone must learn this amazing fact sometime, and why not now? Kuhn is playing one of the best roles of her career in
and could see herself scoring her first Tony Award for her performance,
In celebration of two decades of riverbends, raccoons, and sentient willow trees, Kuhn teamed up with
composer Jeanine Tesori for a little quality time at the piano, where the duo experimented with different musical styles as Kuhn stepped back into the metaphorical moccasins of Disney’s severely underrated princess. Given the opportunity,
also got Kuhn’s answer to one of the biggest questions facing
: Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon? Or have you heard
blue corn moon? Or any wolf cry, ever?
JUDY KUHN: Actually, I have no idea what a blue corn moon is. I have always hoped someone could explain it to me. That being said, I don’t believe I have ever heard a wolf cry. I do live in New York City where we now apparently have coyotes, but I have not heard of any wolf sightings. Yet.
Why do you think the heron and otter are such good friends?
I haven’t seen either of them in years, but I heard they had a falling out. Only a rumor of course, but I never understood that relationship. They just lead such different lives.
What is the most exciting part about being in a show that’s changing the face of American musical theater?
Does the American musical theater have a face? If it does, and it can sing, then I would say
is definitely singing with all the colors of the wind. Broadway will never be the same.
