We've only seen two episodes of season 5B. Stiles opened up to his dad about killing Donovan and he turned to Scott for help, suggesting they'd work together. How is he turning dark now?

I don't see it at all.. S5 as a whole has been a very dark season, he's going through a lot, but.. ?

Okay... I won't be like most TW fans or Stiles fans refusing to ever criticize him... BUT I both agree AND disagree.

It's true that he is a changed person and I don't like the new Stiles as much as the old... But it was mostly in 5x11 that I didn't like it, it's hard to be funny and positive when you're whole world is falling apart.

And at the same time I didn't understand why Stiles had so much against Malia in 5x11 it felt pretty sudden and the same with Malia toward Stiles... Their last scene in 5x10 felt like such a great moment that got to me Malia: "It didn't matter to me, that's why I never said anything!" Stiles:"Well it matters to me"... I didn't understand why they had to break up suddenly?

And Stiles was in my opinion too aggressive towards Scott in 5x11... Scott had been through as much as he had... And when Stiles attacked him and said "Where the hell were you?" in that scene he actually annoyed me Oh he was kinda busy being dead killed by his own beta and friend, and then Stiles just says "Oh you'll heal"... Also when he refused to work with Scott... But remember they are teenagers and it's hard for them to deal with these problems.

But I liked Stiles a lot in 5x12... It was great that he was starting to open up with Scott... And that scene with his dad... Damn it gives me the chills EVERY time!

^^^ He's not the only one who's changed, though. It just seems more drastic because he was so happy and care-free, before. But now that serious sh*t is going down, he can't afford to be like that anymore. Though, he still makes jokes and sarcastic comments, so I still see my Stiles, just under a hardened shell.

He just had to kill someone in self-defense and live with that guilt... I think we can cut him some slack. I think I'm one of the few that believe Stiles forgave Scott too quickly. I'm not saying I didn't want them to make up, but... Scott really freaking hurt Stiles. How could he believe Theo over his best friend? And then when the sheriff was dying... Stiles' was completely on edge, so I don't blame him at all for his actions/reactions. That's just me, though.

But anyway, like I said, the entire season is darker than any of the previous, and I think all the characters have changed a lot, not just him.

Guys I'm really sorry if I offended any of you! But the thing with me is that Scott is my favorite character and seeing him die last season was hell for me... And basically all of Season5A was hell for Scott and me. But I've always loved Stiles as one of my favorites too... Which I think is why I act so sad and shocked. But I realize that it was only in the first episode that Stiles shocked me and I couldn't like him. I was so shocked of the way he attacked Scott like that I didn't think he could do it and Scott did SO NOT deserve it after going through hell last season. But Stiles went through a lot too of course :(. But when he attacked Scott it just seemed so selfish to me and I felt bad inside and angry, like he was the only one with problems. Then he even says horrible things to Scott while he yells. And it was hell for me to see this. Because Scott and Stiles and their friendship is EVERYTHING to me... And if their relationship would be like in 5x11 forever I think I would have to skip all of their scenes I just wouldn't be able to take it! I love them too much.

But this question is kind of irrelevant since I actually love him again episode 12 where he opens up... Gosh the feels in that scene, I almost cry just thinking about it!
