Spock/Christine Tumblr 

Just a space where we can squee over Spock and Christine Chapel. Fair warning, there is likely to be foul language and links to mature works; however, I will refrain from posting explicit images without a warning.

I came to tell you that we are bound for Vulcan. We’ll be there in just a few days.

Sorry I took my sweet ass time to answer this question. You see, I had typed up a paragraph with links to my favorite authors and stories but accidentally clicked one of those links which changed the website and since tumblr doesn’t save what you’ve written unlike some other websites, I lost it all. Alas, I was very frustrated.

To answer, you’re guaranteed awesome stories by AconitumNapellus and Djinn, but my favorite hands down is Lifeline by Milareppa. It reads like a very good episode of the original Star Trek with a great emphasis on Chapel. I feel the author did an awesome job of interpreting Christine Chapel in keeping with what little we saw of her character on the shows and films.

Female Awesome Meme [4/10] female characters who deserved better:

What she means: Nurse Christine Chapel was in as many Star Trek episodes as Chekov and even had an entire episode devoted to her background and how she wound up on the Enterprise. She was an interesting character with a bunch of hilarious lines and appears in several photo shoots with the other major seven characters, but for some reason no one ever considers her part of the main crew. The fact that she isn't considered a main character but Chekov is is likely the result of the overvaluation of male characters and the undervaluation of female characters. Christine Chapel is part of the main crew and I'm so pissed that she isn't included in very many space family posts.
