In my opinion, Marlene needs someone to protect her from the outside world because she is super naive. She's too friendly and cannot see the wrong in people. She also thinks that everyone can get along.

Skipper seems to have that type of knowledge. He can protect her from all the bad guys. But Skipper seems to be lacking in trust issues! Next thing ya know he tries to destroy someone who's innocent! That's where Marlene steps in to talk him out of it. Haha! Posted over a year ago
