Earlier today, E! News confirmed that Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts split after more than 11 years together. And instead of a cryptic statement or Instagram quote, the pair decided to release a comment together that proved things between the two aren\'t so bad.

"Over the past few months we\'ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship," the couple told us. "While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy."

Furthermore, the pair was spotted holding hands at the Toronto International Film Festival just a little over two weeks ago. And yes, social media points to the pair possibly attending a birthday party together this weekend in New York City.

The split got us thinking of all the famous pairs who have ended their relationship without things turning dramatic in the public eye. Perhaps not all love is lost with these duos.
