background characters are expendable so Bon Bon would probably die first, by the laws of tv, movies, and books

Anywho, yes I think Fleur de Lis would die right away. Probably at the Cornucopia as the Games begin. She reminds me so much of Glimmer from District 1.

I just remembered how slim fleur's figure is, and a part of my brain thought "well, maybe she could survive the cornucopia by perhaps dodging a few arrows and stuff," but then I kicked that part of my brain in the face when I realized that she could go down easily. Even though I see fleur as being from district 1, which is a career district, her slim figure could be a slight advantage, but her white coat and pink/white mane would make her stand out in most any environment.
Although if the environment were a snow environment, she'd have an advantage, but the capitol would probably somehow make her lose that advantage.

^ Wow! You are so smart! I love your theory of how Fleur would die! I agree, she'd have an advantage if the arena were a winter/snow environment but then if she were Glimmer (District 1) she'd have to die because of the tracker jackers' venom. Poor Glimmer...

She's so young and she wouldn't really have the heart to kill anyone. Considering she was allowed to be in the games, she probably wouldn't last too long. Also, btflash's idea about the colors was a good point. Sweetie Belle's colors are so similar to Fleur's I thought that she would die first.
I mean, the other CMCs are young, but they're a bit more tough.
Oh! And the reason I didn't pick Fleur was because she would be with the Careers so she would have a bit of protection. I can't see the careers taking in one so young and inexperienced as Sweetie Belle.

Fleur would probably be one of the idiotic people/ponies who go for the biggest backpack at the Cornucopia and then get either seriously wounded/killed while attempting for it.

If she died, then, well, she would be shipped off to the Capitol.

If she lived, she would probably attempt to light a fire to warm her up on the first night, therefore creating a signal that says, "Here I am! Come and kill me!"

Sure, enough, somepony would come and finish her off.



That's just my prediction. But I think it would happen, or something close to it.

Maybe it's the Fleur fan in me talking, but I'd hate to judge her erroneously before knowing more about her. ;) I'd like to believe that she's *not* at all the weak, dimwitted, incapable, prissy trophy wife one could assume her to be. I would love for her to survive...but then again, of course, I don't wanna see anypony die. D:

Anyway, nothing against Sweetie Belle, but I think all of the others would last longer than her. Of course, it's highly questionable as to whether the Crusaders would even be in the running, given how young they are. Eliminating THEM...well, the obvious strengths of most of the others DO kinda automatically narrow it down to Fleur, Bon Bon, and Fancy Pants...at which point it could go any way, since we really need to know more about each of the minor or background characters. They could surprise you.

THEN AGAIN, one might well wonder about the princesses' (especially Celestia's) abilities to kill.
