This is how I think it could be: Twilight is revealed to have an older sister who thinks she's better at everything than twilight, even though twilight is Celestia's student. Twi's sis probably feels jealous of Twilight's accomplishments and tries to secretly get Twi's friends to hate her. Eventually, she succeeds, and twilight loses her friends. Then, Twi overhears her sister secretly boasting about her success, goes to her friends to win them back, and have this big confrontation with Twi's sis, who runs away after the confrontation. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

	fishypup picked Rainbow Dash: Well, she appears not to have a younger sister, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have any. Honestly, a sister (or brother) for any one of them would be a really cute and interesting scenario!! It seems a bit unlikely, but it's entirely possible that we wouldn't have heard of or met them yet. It would still be realistic, too. I picture Twilight's sister being jealous over her work with the princess and saving Equestria. Twice. Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, would have Scootaloo as a sister because Scoots looks up to Rainbow Dash and wants to be as good as her. If Fluttershy had a little sister, she'd treat her kindly and let her help her with caring for animals. posted over a year ago.
