It won't ruin the show, but I don't think she belongs within the mane 6. She belongs in the human world.
But hey, she could be a part of the mane 6 in the human world. That can work.

Good Sunset was a bit disappointing to me after how cool she was as a the antagonist. So if I could change her position in the show, I would not make her part of the mane 6, I would make her into a reoccurring villain.

I'm in both sides. It would be interesting to see a new element, and to see her character develop. On the other hand, it might be a surprise to many fans who will immediately dislike the new addition..
