That's the kind of episode I'd want to write myself, actually!

Twilight would start the day off feeling confident; she's all set when it comes to knowledge and she's great at explaining things. She thinks teaching will be easy because she's a brainiac and she already knows some of the kids in the class, so they'll probably like having her as a teacher.

Throughout the episode, though, she'd have to overcome all kinds of crazy challenges. Many involving behaviour management (seriously, the most difficult thing for people with little teaching experience), trying to make sure they all understand the tasks they are given (knowing Twilight, she might forget how young they are and give them something really difficult to do!) and making sure that, by the end of the day, they have actually learned and remembered some information from their lessons!

Then, when the class is dismissed, after hours of trying to keep them under control, Twilight collapses in exhaustion at the teacher's desk in need of a well earned rest... only to remember she now has a ton of work to grade!

When Cheerilee returns, Twilight admits that her job is much harder than she thought it would be. She never realised that teaching required you to do so many different tasks, and having the knowledge is only a small portion of the job. Twilight sees Cheerilee as she enters her class and announces she is back. The students are of course welcoming to Cheerilee, but they are sad that Twilight won't be able to teach them anymore. That's when Twilight realises that, despite their disruptions and the difficulty she had teaching them, the students really did appreciate her after all. It's just difficult to see that side of them when you're in a hectic classroom trying to get them to pay attention to the work they are supposed to be doing.

Cheerilee recalls this being similar to her experiences when she was new to teaching, and reminds Twilight that sometimes it takes a lot of practice to become comfortable about doing something. Keeping this in mind, Twilight happily departs, knowing that if she ever decides to become a full time teacher herself, it might be especially difficult at first, but she can make it if she keeps trying!

Right, there we go. Something like that.
