In terms of appearance, I have no preference. Her becoming an alicorn though also means that she became a princess, and she earned that through hard work, and I do appreciate that she was rewarded for something that she earned and deserves.

I'm not too keen about it, but I have accepted it. I try to look at the new perspectives such a transition opened and the writers pulled this off almost perfectly. Twi's still our nerdy librarian we know and love, but she has a pair of wings and a castle now.

Okay, this has been bugging me. I think she looks awesome with wings, and people need to stop complaining...all they really do is symbolize that she is a princess, kinda like how male deer have antlers...oh well. :P
