I'm wondering if something like this will happen, as it'd give Hasbro a good opportunity to make a new set of princess toys. If this does happen in the finale, I'm interested in seeing how each of them earn their princess title. It could be an interesting episode!

I think it would be cool if Twilight died. That would be the greatest season finale ever.

I have a good reason for why Twilight would be killed. She turns evil, because she starts to think that being a princess is very important, and starts being greedy, and seeking attention. Then, she betrays her friends, and they have to kill her. Queen Chrysalis died, King Sombra died, Princess Celestia nearly died, lets have Twilight die.

I don't think Twilight will die and I don't think that Queen Chrysalis is dead since she is in the comic (they stated the comics will hold continuity with the series like Twilight being a princess) as well as King Sombra who I believe is also in the comics. I think this would be good for a finale having all the bad guys team up. However, I would love an episode or whole season with Twilight evil.

@Sean: of my all my times watching MLP since Season one,there was NEVER anything like that shown,and like i said before in my other comments about this...MLP was originally a show for little girls,they cant just put something like a character death in the series and if you're thinking of making her into stone like Discord,then that is also such a terrible ending for a show about Friendship,it will be kind of like the game 'The Witch's House',where-actually i will not say it since its spoilers-the true ending was...how should i say it...shocking
