The reason I posted this was because me and my friend actually came up with a sequel and really hope we can get them to do it.

How would it even HAPPEN? There can't be a sequel for a series. Also, they would need to find special someponies for all of them. Fluttershy works with ANIMALS, not kids. (Proven in the stare master). Also, it's a little irrelevant to the show. Last thing, it would undo all the meaning to MLP FIM, and erase everything that happened before. Truly last thing, if you mean G5, they never duplicate a past generation. They are probably not going to do it in Season 4.

I don't mean to be rude, but I hope this never happens. It would change the Mane 6 forever! :'(

I'm not going to try to convince you guys that it would be a good idea, I just want to tell you that having at least one of my many stories becoming an actual T.V. Show would be a dream come true and the MLP sequel is kind of special because my friend that I won't see until forever helped me come up with all the episodes and we have it planned out, and the MLP sequel thing is probably the closest to becoming an actual show. I also want to tell you that in the sequel the Elements of Harmony disappear mysteriously and Twilight has to find new 6 ponies to represent the new ones which are called the Armor of Justice instead. I just wanted to tell all of you this, because... I don't know, but not to convince you. I don't really care if you like or dislike my idea. It's just a idea for a story.

it's ok, DragonAura15. I don't think anyone wants it to change, but sometimes it has to. Mine completely changes the story line, but not too much. The same characters from MLP are still there, and some creatures.

I don't think that's too much of a possibility, but it if they made such a sequel, I'd probably watch it. It depends on the construction and the setting of the story, the style of the animation, the nature of the characters and the voice actors. Basically, if all the awesome traits of FiM would be present (the traits that make FiM so enjoyable for us) I would at least give it a shot.

Not that I don't mind multigeneration stories... but what the actual hay did you have enter your system? This isn't just crazy. This isn't just a fever dream. This is one hay of a hallucination! This will never work.

Actually, some people already headcanon Applejack as the daughter of the character of the same name in G1.

It might be interesting to see a later series (or even a later generation of the franchise) that features characters related to the current main characters, but whether or not it would work... you just can't tell until it happens. I personally wasn't a fan of the baby ponies in G1, even though I loved the older ponies. It depends on how interesting and well written the characters are.

I don't want to jump in and fully judge an idea before it's happened. If G5 consists of G4 offspring, fair enough, but I wouldn't automatically love or automatically hate the new characters purely because they are related to some other characters I happen to be familiar with.
