	glelsey picked congrats!: I guess I would be happy for her! I'm glad Rarity isn't the princess out of the mane six though, because there are already a lot of princessy/royal/rich characters in animation and TV shows with a very similar personality to her, so she may have come off as stereotypical or unoriginal. I love Rarity the way she is - she can be glamorous and finicky without being royalty! posted over a year ago.
