Well, there were. The Elements of Disharmony, we've seen them in The Return of Harmony two parter. These are not official names, but I call them: Deception, Greed, Cruelty, Paranoia, Cynicism, Desperation/Mistrust.

@NocturnalMirage Well, that's true, but those were the Mane 6 corrupted. We're talking completely different ponies. In the Elements of Harmony: MLP FIM guidebook, it actually said that they toyed with the idea.
