I'm sure many of you may not agree, but this is my reasoning. Princess Celestia was unable to defeat Queen Chrysalis, but Cadance did. Cadance transferred some of her power to Shining Armor and so everything from the glowing eyes to the big blast is all Cadance! That's why I think she's most powerful because the other two princesses have yet to defeat a recent evil. I'm sure at one point they were stronger, but as far as this point in the series I'm going to have to go with Cadance.

I would have picked Twily, had she been on this list, but Cadance in a sense is more powerful than Tia, even becoming an alicorn instead of naturally born as one. Love is a force to be reckoned with. Even Celestia can say that.
