I DO like them together (as well as Discord/Chrysalis); it works for obvious reasons. But ultimately, I love Discorlestia the most. x3 I can REALLY see that. And Pinkie, I might pair with Pokey Pierce. ;p

I have to admit that I kinda like Discord with everypony, XD I can imagine any of the mane six getting entangled with him...

Sure, there's the considerable age difference, but I don't think it really matters, because like...Discord is apparently an immortal spirit and/or doesn't age in the "normal" manner. So it's not as if he'd be like some creepy elderly guy hitting on a young girl. (Although, I believe that "age is just a number," and that two adults can be in love romantically no matter how large the age gap.)

I also think that MLP could realistically have couples other than the parents and other older ponies because they would almost certainly handle it in a realistic, yet innocent, and interesting fashion--as they do everything else. The point wouldn't be that everyone needs to date and have a boyfriend/girlfriend, or to add too much constant mush and romantic junk. The show's focus will always be the friendship, after all--hoenies before bronies, lol. And girls and boys can easily be friends without it turning into a "relationship."

I think Discord and Pinkie Pie are awesome together, It's just that Discord id also thousands of years old. but maybe being a statue, he didn't get that much older.

Yeah cuz if thy were a couple and MLP were in couples they would either have their boyfriends with they all the time, be all lovey dovey, and would be just talking about the magic of love...or their boyfriends would either come in every episode and just stalk them...
