Yeeeeeeah, G3 and 3.5 were the worst generations, in my opinion. There was little good characterization, but yes, that Rainbow Dash "always dressed in style" (which is still true in a way, but 20% cooler), and was more like our G4 Rarity...the very prim, proper, fashionable pony.
