Hello everyone in this wonderous community,

I have a couple of things to say. First of all I am happy that the brony community still mostly consists of the most chivalrous of fans and I am also happy that this fanspot is still growing in a steady pace. People are contributing nice things for all of us to enjoy and that is a very good thing indeed.

However, contributing does not mean posting for the heck of it. What is important to keep in mind when you make any type of submission to this lovely spot, is that it will show up in the updates of almost 3000 other fans. Therefore you must ask yourself the following things:

1. Does this already exist?
Dupes are near impossible to entirely prevent on a spot of this magnitude, but it doesn't just go for images. Whether it's questions, polls, forum posts or something else; if something similar is already around, it might be a better idea to comment on those things, instead of collectively creating tens of very similar, but only slightly different separate items. It'll keep things organized.

2. Am I really adding any value with this?
This is an important one. It applies to certain categories more than others. A good example of this is 'answers'. If someone asks a question and you don't know the answer, don't give one. This saves many people much spam.

Long story short; ask yourself: do people want to see this?

And of course, make sure you put everything in the right categories. It is quite annoying when people mix up the 'polls' and the 'quiz' option. I think I don't need to elaborate this, as we've all seen examples of what I mean.
While I'm on the subject; if you are going to make quiz questions, make sure that the answers are 100% canon and confirmed, not fanon (no matter how popular it is), so that when people get it wrong, it is entirely their own fault.

Having said that I must say I am pleased that the porn issue from earlier seems to be resolved for good. This fanspot is clean, as it should be.

I am also pleased about how well we manage this fanspot's 'wall'. I've seen spots where this item in particular is a mess.

We seem to get along pretty well around here, without many behavior issues. Kudos for that as well.

Overall this fanspot is pleasant and organized to look at. Let's keep it that way, guys.
