I've always thought Daring Do was merely a projection of Rainbow's imagination, as she lived through the adventures of a fictional character while reading. I believe it was quite foolish and illogical to make Daring Do a real pony later on in the episode "Daring Don't."

Maybe.But Daring Do is more serious than Rainbow Dash is.

Not really. Daring is more brave than Rainbow (her name implies that) and more adventurous. Rainbow has been scared/freaked out at least once. You can't call Daring "daring" if she's gotten scared once or twice, now can you?

No way. A.K. Yearling (DD, in this case) wishes to remain anonymous whilst RD wanted attention. While Rainbow does things with her friends, DD is a lone wolf.
