My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Question

I really would like some help on this!

Hello fellow mlp fans I am starting a new fan fiction about the children and apprentices of the pony generation now and I want to redo some of the episodes. Of course I will make some changes because somethings will repeat perfectly the same so I need to make the characters. I need ponies to be represent the elements but not having them because the elements are in the tree. I also need to have one of the princess's apprentices to be the element of magic I would like suggestions on which ones. Here they are.

Celestia's Apprentice
Dawn a smart unicorn mare

Luna's Apprentice
Moon Dust a spunky unicorn mare

Cadence's Apprentice
Faith a loving unicorn mare

Twilight Sparkle's Apprentice
Dusk a funny unicorn stallion (Dawn's brother)

I made Dusk for the Guy fans!
