Although I did like My Little Dashie I didn't find it all that sad. Cute, beautiful and well written but not really sad. Maybe it's because the ending was predictable to me. Still a great story though.

The only fanfiction spawned from the fandom that actually made me cry was Bubbles (The second time I read it, to be exact) especially now with the whole Derpy thing going on.

Well if you're going to show your parents, I'd introduce them to the show and Rainbow Dash. That way they can actually like Rainbow Dash and when they read it, they'll understand how sad it is.

On my part of reading My Little Dashie, I didn't cry. Why you ask? I don't know. I'm pretty insensitive to most sad things. (EX: dead puppies, Derpy being changed...) But! I did tear up a bit. I'm surprised that men and boys actually cried! I'm amazed. :')

it does seem like an interesting experiment. I for one think they might not cry, considering they have no idea how great getting their very own dashie could be.

of course! because... just think about YOUR daughter being tooken away from you! or finding out about a tv show SHE was on & didn't know it!

I'm not really a brony, and I practically never cry at movies. I watched Marley and Me, Titanic, etc. and not a single tear came out. But for some reason when I read this I truly had to fight the tears.
