Personality change?

Lauren based the characters personalities on how she pictured them when she played as a little girl. If you play some Flash games, you'll see Rainbow Dash usually getting dressed up. But, I guess she owned a hair styling store too or whatever. But I think I head, "Rainbow Dash is always in style!" So...yeah they did change her to a more epic pony instead her original girliness.

I remember when I'd watch the old version, Rainbow Dash WAS different! She definetely reminded me of Rarity. She called people, "darling" a lot, owned a hair salon, and basically...I didn't like her that much. Now, I think she's awesome. She's not just 20% awesomer, either. More like 100% :D

Yep, our Rainbow Dash is basically the result of Lauren Faust putting tough Firefly's brain into the old, prissy Rainbow Dash's body.
