Maybe a stupid question

Visitors is how many visit your story/profile page gets from a certain IP address and Hits are how many times they looked at it or refreshed the page, basically.

Say you have a story with three chapters and one person looks at it and reads the whole thing strait through. You would get one visitor and three hits. :)
