Have you seen the way Tinkerbell handles the enemy?

Her dads the friggin king of the ocean Ariel could totally just take the trident or blast some water at Tink and since fairies can't fly with wet wings Ariel could idk trap her in a jar or something!

Tinkerbell's temper would get in her way. Besides all Ariel needs to do is get her wet and she'll win, as DsnyPrincess mention, faries can't fly with wet wings. If they can't fly they're basically useless.

Ariel is more clever and focused as Tink would be blinded by her rage and anger..

I think it depends on the circumstances, personally. If its human Ariel vs. Tink, then she'll just customarily rip her hair and poke her eyes out. Tink most likely has contempt for mermaids judging by how they clung to Peter, but then I had no idea about the "pixies can't fly when they're wet" rule.
