Demi Lovato is a gal with her finger on the pulse of current events, addressing the world\'s most controversial and important issues (including Poot Lovato). Take last night for example, when she hit Twitter to raise her voice and speak out on the hard hitting matter of… Starbucks Christmas cups. 

We must have missed this one, but apparently everyone\'s been kicking off at Starbs this winter for the design on their famous red cups, and now you\'ll be glad to know that Demi\'s given her verdict on the debate.

After a quick bit of research, it would seem that loads of people are actually very annoyed by the plain red, un-festive design of the Starbs winter cups, accusing them of being anti-Christmas and right old Scrooges. 

Starbucks claim that the idea was to make customers create their own stories on the cups with doodles, but if you ask Demi, they need to sort themselves out and get in the Xmas spirit pronto. 

Standing up for all things Crimbo, Demi tweeted: "Why doesn\'t @Starbucks at least make the cups about the actual season: winter?", suggesting that snowflakes and snowmen would be a good start. Pay attention designers.

But as we all know, there\'s only one drinking device worth bothering with in Demi\'s eyes, and after wondering: "Also, why do we care this much about a cup…?", she also gave a shout out to her fave beverage holder. 

"Mugs are where it\'s at anyways", she wrote. YAS DEMI, mugs mugs mugs.
