"Tyranny and anarchy are never far asunder." - this depends on your definition of anarchy. political anarchy is in fact the polar opposite of tyranny, and so i have to assume Rentham is using the contemporary definition.. but i still don't think i agree. i'm too tired to state the reasons why.. maybe later.
