Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed
Ben Stein stars in this gleefully controversial documentary and explores the evidence for a Designer, the Evolution vs. ID conflict and the persecution many ID scientists are facing today.

Still, it seems to me, that the point of this video isn't to advocate Intelligent Design, it's just to emphasize that people should be allowed to express their opinions about it without being afraid of reprisal for their views. And I agree with this.
Scientists ARE supposed to have open minds.
Oh, here we're at the "Intelligent Design people are not scientists." More on this later. :)
Still, I agree with the overall point of this video-- to challenge things, and to allow people to freely choose to believe or disbelieve what they want.
EDIT: Also, I like Richard Dawkins, but evolution is not fact.
(I'm gonna stop posting comments for now)
he´s stupid

I know is not a fact even though this guys says it is in the last part
anyways to rephrase (possibly repeat) some of the point i made on that post to rebuttle you cinders
cinders if someone hires you to do a job they expect you to do that job, if people don't think you are doing that job properly of course they have a right to fire you. It's like working for a newspaper and starting to write article on stuff with out any quotes, same as writing scientific papers with out any evidence
yes scientists are suppose to have open minds but their also suppose to have evidence. You said yourself this is more about philosophy so maybe they have become philosophy journalist and then they wouldn't have got fired instead of trying to pass off their believes as fact, sorry that's a bit harsh but well...kinda true
richard dawkins i'm sure is amazing i even bought his book but anything i have ever tried to read of his or watch of his i just fall asleep lol he has a way of starting off with obvious points that i have heard many times and stretching them out and i never get past five minutes to find out if he actually has any good points lol
I'm an evolutionist, I am, but it is a theory. A solid theory, with evidence, but a theory nevertheless, like gravity is a theory and the big bang is a theory. It's a theory I believe, because I've studied it and understand the supports. But that doesn't make it fact. Richard Dawkins is a smart guy, but he is a little extreme sometimes, that's all I was saying about that whole thing.
the difference is evolution has evidence, gravity has evidence, the big band has evidence maybe you wouldn't call any of them fact (i won't go in to the measuring proof thing again because this isn't what this is about) but they do have evidence... intelligent design doesn't there fore as you said yourself that's philosophy
so are we debating over here then?
