How to Get Fired from Fox News in Under Five Minutes 

 that aired on the FOX Business network. It was a bastion of freedom and favorite of libertarians nationwide. It started Judge Andrew Napolitano’s television career and made him the respected media personality he is today. It didn’t last however. In fact, one monologue of his may have directly lead to the show’s cancellation. One of Judge Napolitano’s final speeches has come to be known as “How to get fired from Fox News in under five minutes”. It is true that

 was cancelled just days later, but whether or not it was because of this monologue is a mystery. Nonetheless, Judge Napolitano’s five minute monologue exposed the two party system and it lives on today.

Despite his show being cancelled this clip survives across the internet. The two party system was exposed for the duopoly that it is. Napolitano accomplished real journalism by lifting the curtain on a topic that that is often swept under the rug. That may have been part of the cause of his show’s cancellation. He was simply speaking too much of the truth too often. He often spoke about the two party system but this speech is his best and most descriptive speech about it. Few people in the media even acknowledge the similarities between the two parties. Even fewer realize the complete control they have over the government. The Judge knows both of those things to be true.

Judge Napolitano has watched what happens to Republican and Democrat Presidents after they enter the White House. All of their cares about small government and civil liberties are left at the door. Politicians govern the same way their predecessor did and only make the government grow larger at the expense of the individual. They start wars, continue former Presidents’ wars, and spend more than their predecessors. There’s little difference between administrations and the shadow government of alphabet agencies continue to grow. Judge Napolitano is right on all of that.

Even with those obvious similarities the two party system manages to keep going. They somehow manage to manufacture enough minor pop culture issues to argue about to convince people that the parties are actually different. They’ve convinced entire segments of the population to adopt abject partisanship over principle. Millions of people blindly defend all of their party’s actions despite the contradictions.

This ingrained partisanship is why it’s so hard to get people to objectively look at their party. If they ever did they would see how similar they are both in ideology and in practice. They would realize that everything Judge Andrew Napolitano is talking about in this video is true.

If we want an effective choice, we must change the voting paradigm from the broken, one voter, one vote, ‘first past the post’ paradigm, to either (http://rangevoting.org) and/or (http://www.fairvote.org/instant-runoff-voting#). With the present system, we are all so trapped into stopping the worse evil, over the lesser evil, that there is never an opportunity to vote for what we ACTUALLY WANT! With the alternative voting systems offered, one can vote for what one actually believes in, without sacrificing the opportunity to block the greatest evil that you fear most. Voting for Hope rather than out of fear! Sounds fairly obvious to me.

This is why I don’t watch FOX news anymore. He speaks the truth regardless of who doesn’t like it. The only better way to end the monologue would have been to announce his candidacy for president. Then we have a solid candidate and finally a good test for his own theory. However we would have to have an educated voter base, not a chance of that. Too many drones.

This guy speaks the truth as its happening. Should be candidate for The United States Presidency. Hillary and Trump are in matter the same, they just come in different styles, as he says. This message needs to be spread.

…the parties are only similar in their differences from Libertarians. This coming election is a vote between blaming Islam or Firearms for the violence of the world that has existed longer than both. The fact that they both attack an American freedom is similar, but does not make them the same. They are only the same in that they are both not Libertarians. One is Conservitives while the other is Liberals. Libertarians are generally moderate conservatives, conservative in economics while liberal in social. The two party system is not their fault… you don’t seem to understand why that is how it is. It will ALWAYS be a two party system because that is the only way it works. If a 3rd party arose, than whatever party they were closest to… would have their vote split… and the least similar party will win. That is proof that Democrats and Republucans are not similar. If they were similar, than a third party would eliminate one of them. It would return to a two party system with that 3rd party and whatever one survived. Of course there is a catch… you must be different only within the margins of the majority of people; being different destroys you if you are different from the people. Face it, the reason the libertarian party has not risen… is because the majority of people don’t give a damn about freedom. They don’t want it! They want a fascism that adheres to them. They don’t want freedom of religion, they want freedom of THEIR religion and no one elses. They don’t want to have any freedom they don’t use. The two party system is not the problem. That is simply the natural state of democracy just as failure and collapse is the natural state of Anarchy and zionistic communism. The problem is that Americans forgot what freedom actually means, they forgot it’s value, they forgot how to protect it, and they forgot to protect ALL freedoms even if the ones they don’t want to use. I’m sorry Libertarians, but you are a small and insignificant party because no one cares about our ideals, not because the system is unfair.
