The body of the beautician, 41, was discovered trussed up inside the bathroom of his apartment less than a week after Miss Honduras Maria Jose Alvarado, 19, was found murdered

Honduras Miss Universe stylist Luis Alfredo Garcia has been found dead with his hands and feet bound and stab wounds to his neck.

The beautician, known as Destiny, was trussed up before being slain in the bathroom of his apartment in the town of Sandy Bay, on the island of Roatan, Honduras.

Garcia, who styled contestants in August\'s Honduras Miss Universe contest, is understood to have been absent from work for several days before his corpse was discovered.

They have reportedly ruled out theft as a motive because none of Garcia\'s belongings were taken from his department.

His brutal death comes less than a week after Miss Honduras, Maria Jose Alvarado, 19, and her sister Sofia, 23, were found murdered in a mountainous area of Honduras known as Piedra Gigante or Giant Stone.

Sofia\'s boyfriend Plutarco Ruiz, 26, has confessed to the murders of both women, according to detectives.

Pretty Maria Jose beat 18 contestants to win the Miss Honduras crown in April and earn a place in this year\'s Miss World finals.

The Miss World grand finale takes place on December 14 at London\'s ExCel arena.
