I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Arrow’ and More | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Send any/all of the above to
has decided to incorporate Emily Deschanel’s pregnancy into the show, will we get to see Brennan in the early stages of her pregnancy this time? Or will there be another time jump? —Tiera
Ausiello: Sounds like you’ll get a ringside seat to that elusive first trimester, since exec producer Stephen Nathan tells me that Brennan and Booth will, a least initially, attempt to keep the pregnancy a secret from their co-workers.
Ausiello: An early 2015 episode will find Cam’s man Arastoo “trapped in Iran as a political prisoner,” Nathan reveals. “The only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder. And of course he can’t do it without help.”
Ausiello: As Season 4 unfolds starting March 1, new flashbacks will highlight the Charmings, Ursula’s origin story, more of Captain Hook’s past and the tale of how Regina first met Maleficent.
vibe from you, Robert. Look for Owen and Callie to encourage each other to get back in the dating scene in early 2015. I hear the former will test the waters with a certain female doc with the initials “AS.” Hint No. 2: She has substance abuse issues. Hint No. 3: She’s related to Derek. Hint No. 4: She’s pictured to the right. Hit the comments with your best guesses!
Ausiello: Back your nose away from the glue stick, Jill.
will probably be around for at least another four seasons beyond its upcoming third. Speaking of which, after Suzanne was left sobbing in the wake of Vee’s disappearance, Uzo Aduba says we will find Suzanne in a “broken place” when
returns. “[Series creator] Jenji [Kohan] is playing with the idea of faith and belief. What is faith? What is it we choose to believe in?” Aduba shares. “And [those questions] are true for Suzanne, as well.”
Question: I’m dying to know whether the Jess/Nick ‘ship has sailed on
, or if there is still a chance of them getting back together. I love the character of Ryan, but I love Jess and Nick! —Ganga
Ausiello: The ‘ship actually hit an iceberg and sank, this according to Jake Johnson. “Nick is really happy for Jess and Ryan, they’ve got a nice thing going,” shares the actor. “Nick and Jess are friends, and I think [the romantic relationship] is done. You can’t keep flipping back and forth, because the show needs an identity. They went back to just friends, and they’re happy with that. And I’m happy to do it.”
‘s stunning midseason twist of “killing” Oliver Queen, Felicity would react. Felicity was clearly hurt when Oliver kept pushing her away, and now that he finally tells her he loves her — she was his last dying thought! — and now she’s lost him again! –Julie
Ausiello: I will just remind you that when Matt Mitovich last Q&A’d Emily Bett Rickards, she had just wrapped filming “a sad moment” for Episode 10 — aka the midseason opener, airing Jan. 21 — and it had left her “drained.” (Elsewhere on Team Arrow, Marc Guggenheim told us that in the same episode, David Ramsey “shot what I would describe as his most emotional scene…. David breaks your heart with his performance.” So, yeah. Kleenex.)
Ausiello: We haven’t seen the last of Thea’s DJ-boytoy, played by Austin Butler. “Like a lot of our characters, there’s maybe a little bit more to him than meets the eye,” exec producer Greg Berlanti teases. And will her papa Malcolm Merlyn have a take on the new guy in his daughter’s life? Says Berlanti with a laugh: “It would be surprising if he
Ausiello: The one-episode return of Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be “warm, happy and upbeat,” reports exec producer Mike Schur, who teases that viewers will get “some cool glimpses into what [Ann and Chris] have been up to in the years that they’ve been gone. It’s going to be a really nice thing for people to see them.” Bringing Jones back for the farewell season was among Schur’s top priorities. “The entire series is predicated on Ann Perkins coming to a small public forum and complaining about something in her neighborhood,” the EP reminds us. “That was literally the design of the show, and it just wouldn’t have felt right if we didn’t have Ann back in one episode, at least. I’m really happy that it all worked out.”
, Jane Seymour played Abe’s twice-divorced wife — but Henry had never met her. How does the show explain that? —Angie
Ausiello: Easy, says star Ioan Gruffudd: It doesn’t. (At least, not yet.) “That’s a very good question!” he says, laughing. “It will be interesting to find out what that period of time was and why they were apart. Was it to protect Abe? Was it to protect the secret or something like that? It will be interesting.”
Question: Can you please give us some scoop on the new and final season of
(besides what has been reported in all the little short snippets lately)? —Harris Family
Ausiello: The final season premiere picks up with Raylan in, of all places, Mexico, where his U.S. Marshal’s badge curries him exactly
favor. (But when has that ever stopped him from getting what he needs?) The episode also features a moment
Namely, is Camille Guaty/“Megan” going to be pretty much a regular for the immediate future? —Justin
alumna is now in fact recurring on the freshman CBS drama. As such, you should see Walter and Sylvester’s confidante again sometime soon.
fans: Showrunner Dee Johnson says the closeted character “probably will be out” by the end of Season 3. However — and interestingly — she adds, “I don’t know whether it will be voluntary.”
Ausiello: An upcoming twist. The Witnesses’ “relationship in a position we’ve never seen before.” An “epic climax” with “ramifications for Season 3.” (All courtesy of showrunner Mark Goffman.) Intrigued yet? BONUS SCOOP: Ichabod’s aforementioned karaoke experience is coming up in Episode 14, and we’ll get not one but
scenes involving at least one Witness taking the stage.
Question: I know you guys reported it was unlikely that
Red Band Society would be getting a second season, but is there at least a chance we will get some closure? —Estee
Ausiello: As EP Rina Mimoun told us last month, the final three episodes of the medical drama’s first season — which have yet to be scheduled by Fox — will provide “closure for a lot of the current teen storylines” while showing ways that the adult characters’ arcs could continue (on the off chance of a pickup announcement). Episode 11, meanwhile, will feature the return of Jes Macallan’s Ashley and the introduction of Leo’s family — including William Ragsdale (
) as the heartthrob’s dad. Plus, the sometimes-underutilized Dash will be getting a love interest, played by newcomer Jessica Lu. “We’re packing a lot into the last three episodes of the season,” says Mimoun. “I’ll tell you that.”
? —Missi Ausiello: Regarding that gigantic cliffhanger in November’s fall finale — How do Tom and Red know each other?! — series creator Jon Bokenkamp says that burning question
be answered. Eventually. “Tom clearly has some sort of past that Liz is not aware of, that involves Red,” the EP confirms. “We will continue to tell that story. We don’t dive right into it in the Super Bowl episode, but that does start to bubble up later in the back half of the season.”
That’s a wrap! Happy Holidays! Please send questions, comments, and anonymous tips to askausiello@tvline.com. (

“Back your nose away from the glue stick?” I love it!!
Arrow is so gd heart-wrenching this season, I can’t wait for it to come back.
Are you serious that Owen and Amelia will have something? Wow, I bet nobody knew that already.
He he. I read it wrong, thought he meant Callie and Amelia. Which would have been…..interesting. Oh well….
You mean because they’re the only two on the show who haven’t hooked up yet, due to Amelia being a newbie?
Actually, I’m kind of glad they’re doing it. I like Amelia and I used to like Owen before Shonda ruined him with being pissy to Cristina.
No, I mean because this isn’t new anymore. I actually like the pairing, I just wanted to read something unexpected.
I think we were all expecting it, but I hadn’t heard it as a spoiler yet.
Yeah, that’s a regurgitated bit of info. No real scoop there.
Another Hook backstory? Why are the producers and writers so obsessed with this women beating, backstabbing a-hole?
Ok seriously? Hook’s had like 2 backstory episodes ever. Idc if u don’t like him it’s your opinion but get the facts right and stop spreading hate
@Ab – Stop being ignorant and that too purposely to spread hate and stupidness. And as far as I know Hook is way more then the silly claims that u just labelled! There has been character development and he is a changed man, a better man.
That’s some hardcore Hook hate you have there.
Firstly Hook has had 2 or 3 centrics. And secondly stop commenting just to post disrespectful hate. Thank you.
I like Hook and I love his development so guess what I’m excited to see what we will get with him in his backstory especially if it’s concerning one of the 3 Queens of darkness – I think it’s going to be Ursula
Add me to the list of being a fan of Hook as a character and his development and played by the fantastic Colin O’Donoghue <3
As opposed to the COUNTLESS backstory episodes about the Charmings? And Regina? And Rumple? Whether or not you like Hook as a character (I happen to LOVE him), the show needs to diversify which characters they focus on or it will just be a repeat of season 1 over and over again.
I knew as soon as I saw this post that you’d get jumped on by every Hook-obsessed poster this site has to offer. Guess you’re not allowed to voice your distaste for Hook since he’s just so darn pretty.
No, it’s about the numbers. When every other character has had half a dozen to a dozen backstory episodes, it seems unreasonable to complain about a second one for Hook. Personally I’d rather a second Hook backstoyr than the zillionth Regina or Rumple one
So glad we’re getting early B&B pregnancy instead of yet another time jump. Bones working its own negotiations with Iran is an interesting twist.
I hope all is well with you and yours, Ausiello!! Happy holidays!!!
No more Nick and Jess to look forward to, forever? That’s no fun. I was hoping Nick would grow up (cuz he needs to anyway) and find his way back to her. Maybe endgame, and Jake’s just being honest about the break-ups and make-ups not happening? I think I’m the only person in the world who still liked the show while they were dating…
I want Nick and Jess too! Don’t give up! (I’d take endgame)
Nick and Jess were the saving grace last season. Without them (and Winston), season 3 would have been completely un-watchable.
Even though I know it won’t stick and while I was amazed but I had foreseen the possibility, I have a feeling I will be so glad I save Supernatural to watch on Wednesdays and so I start Arrow right after and don’t have to watch commercials. So I can cry without stupid commercials. Roy you have to know you have to be there for the rest of your team.
An “epic climax” with “ramifications for Season 3.” But will Sleepy Hollow get a season 3? That hasn’t been announced yet. The ratings are bad and the fanbase is in disarray over the story.
Personally I think the show will get a Season 3 as it stands now, but a lot will depend on how the final 7 episodes of the season do. And I agree that people are divided over the direction of the show, the same is happening with Person of Interest fans who were upset that the dynamic was changed there.
the writers this season seem to be on hiatus themselves.
There’s a good show there just waiting to come out, and it does at times. But oh well, what can you do? I do think they deserve a second chance to turn things around, and perhaps regain a lot of lost viewers with a good, well written third season :)
Considering the state that FOX’s dramas are in (Bones on its last legs, Glee done, The Following really weak, Red Band cancelled, Gracepoint cancelled, Wayward Pines pushed to summer), Sleepy Hollow has a ways to fall before it’d be in danger. It’ll comfortably get a third season, but I think it’ll move to another night.
No. They’re bad. But another night could fix the problem. Hopefully the writers will fix the story too. It’s just not good this season.
I’ve been really disappointed in season 2 so far. They killed Irving, who was a great character and too much of the show has been focused on the Crane family of Ichabod/Katrina/Henry and that’s just boring for me. The show sparkled last season when Abbie tried to bring Ichabod into the 21st century and it still does those few times when the writers write to them but most of the season has been pretty boring compared to season one. At this point, I don’t care if it gets renewed or not
Karaoke sounds like it’s going to last about ten seconds, and then it’s back to the boring Katrina and Henry stuff.
How can anyone actually think that Oliver Queen is dead on Arrow?
People seem divided. Some believe him to be dead and will be revived via Lazarus Pit, some believe his fall caused some serious damage but he’ll be rescued and nursed back to health, and some as you said believe that’s the end of Oliver ;)
The Blacklist – Waiting to see what will unfold here.
Once Upon a Time – I am particularly excited for a Hook backstory, can’t wait. Love to see his childhood.
Even when I don’t watch the show and have no idea what the Q or A means, I read it cos you so often make me laugh.
I think I like Amelia with Owen, bit I also like Owen/Callie. I am really TIRED of Calzona’s drama.
I’m looking forward to seeing how Felicity and Diggle react to Oliver being “dead”. (They better not believe it just cuz Malcolm says so.) Should be some really good scenes with David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards.
After that, I don’t really care much unless the Lazarus Pit brings Sara back. Thea lost me by lying to Oliver about her association with Malcolm so I don’t care about her any more, Malcolm hasn’t really been interesting since Moira died and he started riding roughshod over everyone, and zero interest in Laurel putting on Sara’s role.
Yeah bring on the Owen/Amelia! Both deserve happiness and Amelia wouldn’t fit with any other male on the show anyway, also everyone else is taken. I wonder what they are gonna do with Maggie and Stephanie though, keep them sjngle?
“Ursula’s origin story, more of Captain Hook’s past” I’m very excited about both of these things! I wonder if they’ll have anything to do with each other since they’re both water-based characters.
Thank you for the Justified scoop! Can’t wait for the new season!
It’ll be interesting to see how B&B try to hide it, since it’s so obvious (to us). lol
And I wonder how long ago SN told Ausiello about the Arastoo stuff, since Bones isn’t coming back until March?
No more Nick and Jess? Well I’m a bit less interested in the show now. It’s funny but not as hilarious as season 1 was and I mostly enjoyed Nick and Jess and their chemistry and kept watching hoping for a rekindling but if it’s not coming I’ll just wait for the rest of season to be on Netflix and then maybe watch it. This’ll save space on my DVR. Lol
I am really disappointed. Nick and Jess were so much fun. I used to be so excited for every episode. Now it seems like the writers have decided to stop focusing on character development, so I guess that means none of the characters can have serious relationships. Well, it is still funny, but the heart is disappearing.
I tried to watch this season, but it’s so hollow. Really, REALLY tired of the casual sex story lines. I hate to watch and feel like they’re turning into “losers”, but they really dumbed down everything, especially Nick. I was hanging on thinking they’d start to bring them back together in this second half, but I’m tuning out and maybe binging over the summer. Not worth it to be continually disappointed week after week.
Forever – it would be kinda hard for Abe to introduce his “father” to a girl, marry her, then have to explain how, 20 years later, he looks exactly the same. I always assumed that it was as easy as that.
Oh man, Arrow’s Felicity and Diggle going to break my heart, aren’t they? This is going to be brutal in the best TV kind of way. I sighed when I read the bit about the DJ though. I was hoping the show had come to its senses and dumped that horrible idea. Worst. intro. ever. #dumb
The DJ was such a self-loving douchebag the episode he was in. Thea has terrible taste letting him kiss her and not firing him for doing it.
Arrow is already running too many storylines at the same time and not doing credit to them (Oliver gone, Thea/Merlyn, Laurel/Black Canary, Ray/suit, Roy as Arsenal, Diggle/Lyla/baby,
Slade returning, cross-overs and whatever they’re doing with Felicity).
This is one they should drop, or at least park till they get some others tied up.
I really enjoy OITNB but I feel like if it goes seven seasons that will be way too long.
I don’t know why, but I have NEVER been able to view the pictures in ANY of your galleries. Does your gallery require a particular program that I (obviously) do not have? If so, how do I get it? I can see the thumbnails in the “proof set” below the main screen, but that screen is always blank for me. Help, please!
Am I the only person who thinks a Charlie Rowe (Leo from Red band Society) andBen Feldman look like brothers?!?!
