Megastar CNN journalist Anderson Cooper is not usually quick to open up about his personal life, but in his new book "The Rainbow Comes and Goes" he is an open book.

The new title is a memoir, co-authored by his mother Gloria Vanderbilt, and explores their relationship through a year-long candid conversation.

"A touching and intimate correspondence between Anderson Cooper and his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, offering timeless wisdom and a revealing glimpse into their lives."
