Highly doubtful - he lives way past this point in the books and he's listed as appearing in all the episodes this season on IMDb.

I don't figure he is. I am on book 4 and I know he is going to be in that part of the plot. Also I read the back of the rest of the books and I know there is a whole story arc just about him.

It didn't look like a real gun Sarah shot him with. Looked like a tranquilizer gun or something like that.
Sarah is probably the dumbest character ever. She's pretty irritating.

@Courtney86 - if you think thats a nice picture you should google 'vinnie home and away'.. ryan kwanten played him years ago on australian television...
