True Blood Question

Do you agree with me?

In "Beautifully Broken" (season 3, episode 2), for the first time, Eric appears to be outwardly showing (even if just slightly) that he has feelings towards Sookie.
When Eric is talking to Sookie on her porch and tells her that the werewolves are now coming for her, he follows it up with "...and I...owe you." When Eric hesitates, it seems like he is confused or unsure of his motivation behind helping Sookie--almost like he doesn't understand what he is feeling. This goes back to his incredible line in season 2, "Don't use words [love] that I don't understand." Do you agree with my interpretation of this scene? Thank you.

I agree i think stuffs going on in his brain that he cant comprehend. Heres this bad ass vampire whos knocking on Sookies door admiting that hes lied to her, not really like Eric is it. More like a person who has feelings for someone and feels guilty for lying to them! I think the scene where the dancer is dancing for Eric and all Eric sees is Sookie confirms it.
