It continued to snow as Rachael continue her journey north to Thunder Bay Canada, but the line ahead of her was already plowed.
Rachael: It's getting really cold. *Watches a snowflake land near her left eye* I bet it's warmer in the refrigerator car. *Blows her whistle twice while increasing speed to 40 miles an hour*
Now actually, a refrigerated boxcar is a splendid way to travel. Splendid that is, if one is a snowman, or a furry coated rabbit. But for Karen?
Karen: *Shivering as she sneezes*
Frosty: Are you cold Karen? Now that's a silly question. You wouldn't be sneezing if you weren't cold.
Karen: *Shivering* Well.....just....just a l- a little. aaAH, CHOO!
Frosty realized that he had to get Karen out of that car as soon as possible.
Rachael: *Stops in a siding, and blows steam out of her cylinders*
Delta: *Honks his horn while passing Rachael with his express passenger train*
Frosty: *Opens the door, and leaves the car with Hocus Pocus while holding Karen*
Rachael: *Pulls her train away from the group*
Professor Hinkle: *Watches the three* Oh, you tricked me! No fair!!
Rachael: *Blows her whistle twice while taking Hinkle away from Frosty*
The only thing Professor Hinkle could do, was make a jump for it.
Professor Hinkle: *Jumps off the caboose, and falls down an embankment. He hits his head on a tree, and then snow and ice fall onto him*
Squirrel: *Whistles Shave and a haircut while laughing at Hinkle*
Now that the cartoon cameo is out of the way, we continue with Rachael, continuing her journey through the snow.
Rachael: It stopped snowing. Now I just gotta make a stop nearby to drop off some of the ice cream.
The depot where Rachael had to stop was in Pigeon River, just a few miles north of the border separating the United States from Canada. It was named after a river following the border.
Rachael was grateful to have a lighter load, but there would be a problem further up the line.
Depot Manager: *Walks on the platform to Rachael* Hey just so you know, the line's not fully clear of snow. There should only be a couple of miles for you to plow through Neebing.
Rachael: By the time I get there it might be clear.
Depot Manager: It might, depending on how slow you go. You should wait anyway. You'll have a hard time climbing the 1.7% grade.
Rachael: I can still refuel further up the line, can't I?
Depot Manager: There is coal and water at Cloud Lake
Rachael: That's all I need to know. Is my train ready?
Depot Manager: All the ice cream we need has been unloaded.
Rachael: Then stay behind the yellow line, cuz I'm pulling out! *Blows her whistle twice in excitement as she accelerates out of Pigeon River*
Depot Manager: *Watching Rachael pull her train* Well, her glass is definitely half full.
