Please don't get angry if you already know this but. Tokyo Mew Mew was a Japanese Manga that eventually got turned into an anime, which it's most popular for. An American dubbing company named 4Kids decided to dub it into English, just unlike other animes they dubbed they changed the name from Tokyo Mew Mew to Mew Mew Power after some, controversy with fans of the English-translated manga. Originally it was going to be called Hollywood Mew Mew.
