On Angel Island, there was a cute, pretty Echidna named Tikal. Her father was the chief of the Angel Island. He loved his daughter very much. One day, she said," Father, may I venture to the Sky Indigo? I promise to bring a friend or guard with me!" The chief raised one eyebrow suspiciously. He prayed for his daughter's safety wherever she went. Of course she was allowed to travel to different places, with a guard or two, but the Sky Indigo? That was a bit different. White clear clouds covered the Island. Rainbows were enshrined into each brick you saw. Trees of all plant kingdoms thrived in the places that looked the most barren. Animals of mystic legends showered the region's every square inch. For these reasons, most echidnas were forbidden to go to that place. All of this was too good to be true. Danger was probably around every corner; disguised as cute objects, as said by Julie-Su. Even Lien-Da didn't dare go there, and she was one brave echidna. "You may go," he huffed," but one echidna must accompany you on your journey. Where is Knuckles and Julie-Su? They shall come with you." Tikal sighed. Her father still sees her as a little girl. She was trained by Knuckles himself on how to act in battle. The chief even watched her! Why couldn't he understand? "Fine..." Tikal grunted unhappily. Knuckles and Julie-Su appeared in their battle attire. "We're coming Tiki!" Said Julie-Su cheerfully. Tikal winced. She despised it when people called her Tiki. Plain stupid, as she saw it.
When the friends arrived at the Sky Indigo, a friendly greeting awaited them. Birds of rare species sang their beautiful songs happily, while the lemurs joined in on the chorus. Tikal smiled. "Such a beautiful sight, the beauty of Angel Island couldn't even compare to this...." She said wistfully. Knuckles let out a hearty laugh." Yeah! I wonder why your dad, er- I mean the chief wouldn't let a single echidna come here alone. It's so freaking awesome here!" Julie-Su was yakking a mile a minute. All that came out of get mouth was a blabbity-blab about this and yadda yadda ya about that. Tikal was absorbed by the beauty and loveliness of this island. Then, a chirping sound as heard. The echidnas readied their weapons, just in case it was a predator. "Chaoooo....."
A light blue figure appeared in front of the crew. It had large dark blue eyes and had faded pink skin. A yellow dot hung over its head. It had little wings too. The clan immediately dropped their weapons and huddled around the cute moving object. "Chaoooooooo!" It said happily as it hugged Tikal. It felt soft and warm like a blanket. Knuckles petted its head gently as Julie-Su kissed it all over in a glee spree. "I've heard of these things! They're called Chaos! They are a species that populates in great numbers! I wonder were this one's family is...." Exclaimed Knuckles, happy that he knew something for once. Julie-Su gave Tikal puppy eyes. "Why don't we keep it? After all, it is stranded." Knuckles and Tikal shirt Julie-Su a mean look and responded with," Are you absolutely insane?!?! My father would kill me if I brought something from another area home! Especially from the Sky Indigo!" Julie-Su pouted and crossed her arms. "But this could have been a Chao Island. Tikal's Chao Island." Tikal blushed. No one complimented her this way before. It was rare to get applause from her friends, especially if she was better than them. "How about we explore and find the other Chaos?" Asked Knuckles. Tikal's eyes were as wide as the Moon. "Uh.... Found them." She pointed to a mass of Chaos, all smiling.
The crew all socialized with the innocent chaos and played with them. They continued this process for years, until they weren't allowed to go anywhere anymore. But one day, the chief asked," Tikal, you've been going to that island a lot. Don't you think you can attend to the people for just a day? They miss you very much." Tikal gulped. She never told her father about the whole fiasco in meeting the Chao and now the Chaos. What was she going to say????? Then, she spilled the beans. The chief's eyes narrowed at every word. He bellowed," I told you not to socialize
with those creatures! Show me one of them, now!!!' Tikal pulled out a Chao who was cowering behind her. It was very scared. The chief studied him skeptically and poked it. "It seems nice. Alright, I like them! But first, may I see their leader?" Tikal froze. She didn't know their leader. But at that moment Lien-Da busted through the door," Sir, the Chaos' leader has arrived!"
The Chaos' leader looked the same as the other Chaos, except it was purple and had bigger wings with a lopsided crown. " Chaooo! Cholo Chao!" Everyone gave it questioning looks until Lien-Da translated what it said. The chief gave the Chaos his word and vice versa. Tikal had her own Chao Island, all thanks to one encounter.
