The Vampire Diaries TV Show Question

Okay, this had been bugging me for a while... (question/comment about Season 2 Comic-Con Trailer)

The scene in question is when "Elena" says: "Katherine's in this house - that means that she's been invited in...what are we gonna do?".
The part that I'm questioning is her voice...
Is it just me that it sounds a little different? Not just mentally (i.e. meaner, colder, fake - although it kind of sounds like that too, a bit), but also physically; anyone else hear a really light lisp? Well, maybe not a lisp, but it does sound different (at least to me)...I'm not saying that it's not Nina Dobrev, because, duh, it is - I just think Nina's talking slightly differently for a different character: Katherine.

So tell me...have I gone insane or did someone else notice that too? Leave your thoughts below!

But, well, I think Nina's playing Elena. And I think what you said about the voice it's because she had just learned that Katherine's been in her house, she's been invited in and stabbed John. And you have to add the fact that maybe she saw John in the middle of a lot of blood... That would explain the voice thing. I think Nina's playing a really shocked Elena and she's a very good actress. That's how I can explain the voice thing you've noticed... But I really think it was Elena...

yeah it's DEF elena...and that scene is NOT right after john was stabbed that promo is meant to confuse us

99% sure it's Elena! But this tv show is full of surprises and i think Damon & Stefan would know.. Their radars must be up now that they know Katherine is back!
