My sims 2 launcher keeps shutting off can you help me?

every time i go to open my sims 2 launcher it keeps saying there is a problem and shuts the launcher down. i looked online and t says there should be 4 files that shouldnt be there and i checked mine and there werent any files out of place or anything, i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it,and it still didnt work. i have not downloaded anything and the only expansions i have in my game are best of business collection which includes: open for business, H&M Fashion Stuff, and Kitchen & Bath interior design stuff, so can you please help me?

Hmm all i can think of is - do other games work on your computer? If no, then the problem might be in your computer...Or, you could try installing the game on another computer and see if it works, if it does, then, once again, the problem might be in your computer.. If other games work on your computer or the game still won't work on other computers you could buy the game again and install it again,well, that is, if the game isn't too expensive where you live..
