i don't know why people criticize the phantom, he works in such a dark and mysterious way, you have to love him. he s really awesome. but i wouldn't want to be him for 1- i'm not a guy, 2- he goes to low, 3- i don't want to be a murderer

the ONLY reason i chose him is because i would either commit suicide so christine WOULD get together with Phantom or id play her and THEN kill raoul so i could be with phantom...but if i dont get to change the story id be phantom cause no way in HELL am i gonna play Christine and end up with that pansy ass...id go on with my life as phantom getting others in the theatre to do what i want...hehehe...

i would despise myself if i ever did have to play him...i hate raoul i hope im spelling his name wrong...yuck...thats why i would kill myself...i have an annoying habit of spelling names right...especially the ones i DONT like...

If I would get a chance to play Christine, I would be so happy. However, there would a couple of changes to made to the part. First, the high notes would be changed to lower ones (I'm an alto). Second, Christine would no longer choose Raoul. She would choose the Phantom instead!

if i got the chance to be christine then i would most definately choose the phantom because he was there even before raoul showed and and tought christine how to sing with so much feeling. (besides the phantom needs some loving too.) and besides that christine had gustave with the phantom before he died so that counts as a plus. ha ha. finally something that raoul doesn't have that doesn't really belong to him.

Assuming that I worked really hard and could reach all her notes without sounding like a steam whistle, of course. But, in fantasy, this would be just about the best experience I can think of.

My biggest dream is to play Christine once I am older:) I have been training in opera/classical music for many years and I love singing her songs. I feel like the music just touches my heart, and like the Phantom says, it makes my spirit soar:P

I would love to play her, but I can't sing :/ however, if Joel Schumacher makes another movie I'm in with a shot because I'm unknown and having an amazing singing voice is not necessary... :P

The Phantom for me. He's got the best songs and is the most complex, fascinating character of the show. Just one problem...he's a he, and I'm a she. XD

I'd settle for Christine, Meg, or Madame Giry though. If I could hit those notes, I'd love to be Carlotta. There's something I like about all those characters, I wouldn't be able to decide.

Don't know really probably either Christine if I could get my voice up that high or Meg as shes a nice girl who cares a lot for Christine and dances really well but not Carlotta, have to agree it is funny that only 1% want to be Raoul and no-one wants to be Piangi!

Even though I am a girl I would chose the Phantom. It would be a really narcisstic relationship. Don't caring with raoul, chritstine and anybody else, just sitting in front of the mirror and singingf myself. XD
