Fair enough. Erik can be a pretty scary guy when he feels like it. If he says don't touch I'm going to go ahead and listen to him on that.
But if I did have a momentary lapse of brain power, or if I managed to talk him into removing it my reaction would probably vary depending on the version.
1. Leroux- Willing to admit it might take me up to 3-4 seconds to deal with it, and get the 'wow' factor out of my system. The only description we really have is corpse with no nose, so that's open to a fairly wide interpretation. At least in my morbid little brain. Honestly, 90% chance it's not really going to bother me at all.
2. ALW stage- Even when I was 3 this didn't phase me. We're all good here.
3. Robert Englund- STOP PICKING AT IT! Not really concerned overly much about it, but I would not get too close to him until he let it scab over and stop being all gooey. Yech.
4. ALW film- Honestly? I'd laugh in his face. Dead serious. After I got that out of my system I'd grab my theater makeup bag, sit his butt down and make him look 'just like everyone else'. Betcha I can do it in about 15 minutes.
5. Lon Chaney version- So, yeah. I'm weird and I think he's actually pretty cute. But then again we all knew I had problems, didn't we?
