Isnt it sad to think that Eric's own mother detested him?

Mothers are supposed to love their children no matter what. But his mom never hugged or kissed him because she was terrified and disgusted by him.

Yeah, I makes me cry and feel sad everytime when Erik tells how his own mother treats him so bad. If I was brave enough I wanna give him a hug and a kiss on his forehead or cheek, just like Christine.
