When the Phantom, Christine, and Raoul are in the Phantom's catacombs, Christine tells the Phantom that she hates him, then she kisses him. And when she and Raoul are leaving she looks back at the Phantom and sings. Why did she say she hated him?

When Raoul and Christine are leaving, she looks back at the Phantom(the director even said this) and sang to him: "Share each day with me, each night, each morning." That's what makes me wonder.

Maybe because the phantom let her and Raoul go.

I think it's a way of saying that though she has chosen Raoul in the end, she will not forget the Phantom. After all, he was like a father to her.
