Yes, I read it a couple of years ago after I saw the musical for the first time. I couldn't resist! Every time I read about Phantom online I would run into references to the original book. Overall, I think I prefer the musical, nut I appreciate the book for many reasons. It adds so much to the characters!

Yes I've read the book, couple of times as well as Kay's novel and other POTO novels. When I first got into my phandom I don't know why but the first thing i did after seeing the stage production was reading the novel and the many spin offs, and continuations before I started actually watching any of the movies. lol what can I say I like to read.
