The (current) title for episode 4.23 of The Mentalist is "Red Rover, Red Rover", written by Tom Szentgyorgyi. The episode will be linked with the season finale, but will air in a different night. The Season Finale, episode 4.24, will be called "The Crimson Hat" and, of course, is written by series creator Bruno Heller.

i will stop watching if Patrick didn't shoot the real Red John. i think he did though because i don't think the screenwriters would make him into a murderer! the only kill that we can support is the kill of the real RJ not some wanna-be. And that's the only kill that Patrick can forgive himself for too.
