I personally liked it. The ending did seem a little rushed, though. But other than that, I enjoyed it. It had a surprisingly happy ending. I loved when the gods came to fight alongside their sons and daughters. Imagining Percy and Poseidon fighting together, and Annabeth and Athena...even Hecate and Hazel, even though they aren't related. I laughed a lot when reading about Piper fighting and Aphrodite making comments on her fighting. :)

I feel like there should have been a reunion scene with Leo and everyone else, plus maybe a chapter about an awkward conversation between Leo, Calypso, Percy, and Annabeth? No? Just me?

Oh my gosh I totally agree! Personally, with the way things turned out, the last chapter was almost the only part worth reading... but seriously? ONE CHAPTER with Calypso in it? Leo + Calypso was like the only reason I read the book!

OK, and everyone else. But still.

For some reason I want a heart-wrenching death like what Luke did in The Last OIympian. In all honesty the Blood of Olympus was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Where was the war? There was no blood. no death. This war was supposed to be worse than the one with the titans. But no. the Titan war was far worse. Why did Rick bring back Leo? For Calypso? That totally messes up the whole 'an oath to keep with a final breath' thing. BECAUSE LEO DIDN'T DIE.
All you actually had to do was to lift up Gaea and put her to sleep? Stupid. And the whole Solangelo thing? I hate it. (I am personally a Percico shipper myself.) Especially how the fandom reacted to Will Solace. He's just in the fandom for Solangelo. And the fact that there was no reunion between Sally and Percy or Percy and Grover.
And I also hate that Clarisse was almost never mentioned. She was one of the best side characters in the first series.
One more thing about the whole Caleo ending: Calypso no longer being on Ogygia screws up her entire mythology. What if in the future (because let's be honest, Leo's gonna die one day and Calypso is immortal) a hero is in need of help and NO ONE is there to tend to him because Calypso's not on Ogygia?
I feel like the Blood of Olympus is missing its last 300 pages or something.

IT WAS SO FREAKIN ABRUPT! but Percabeth is going to college, Nico doesn't have a crush on Percy anymore, Leo fulfills his promise...so yeah

@ emerald_32, actually no it doesn't ruin the line an OATH to keep wit a final breath, because there is an oath to fulfill, which he could not have done if he was dead. But still... What happens next? All the ending did was make me hungry for something I can't get. He could have at least done the reunion of Leo and his friends, if they're still alive, or at least said if they were still alive!
