What is Percy doing at Camp Jupiter and why is everyone calling him the Son of Neptune? Join Percy and his new Roman demigod friends, Frank and Hazel, as they embark on a daring and mystical quest battling beasts, giants, and gods. Will Percy ever regain his memory, uncover the meaning of an Ancient Prophecy, and reunite with Annabeth? Only if he lives that long!
The catalog also says the book is 544 pages
That is what was written next to The Son of Neptune in a scholastic catalog.
This tells us that Percy is being called the Son of Neptune, is friends with Frank and Hazel, is going on a quest, will battle gods, and has to uncover the meaning of an Ancient Prophecy, and might die.
So some people think he is Roman, so he won’t be killed for being Greek (yet). Frank and Hazel are friends, not enemies. We already assumed those two but not some of the other things.
He is going on a quest (We can’t keep him out of trouble, can we?). But it’s the Ancient Prophecy part that bothers me. The prophecy Rachel made is hardly ancient, so what prophecy is this? Dose it involve Percy? What about Jason? Leo? Piper? What is it about?
He’s going to battle gods. Are they Roman or Greek? Which ones? How many?
I’m really hoping that the “Only if he lives that long!” is just to get you interested and that Percy isn’t really in danger of dying (anymore than usual I mean).
So this really created more questions than answers, sorry. But I thought you all might want to see it.
